ITS Campus, ITS News \u2014<\/b> Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS)<\/a> managed to bring two proud achievements in the field of treasury and finance from the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) RI through the Surabaya I State Treasury Service Office (KPPN). This award is proof of ITS commitment to becoming an institution with transparent and accountable financial management.<\/h4>\n<\/blockquote>\n

ITS won first place in two types of awards. The first award is ranked 1st as the Work Unit with the Best Performance in Completing Reconciliation of Financial Statements at the Budget User Authority Accounting Unit (UAKPA) Level for the 2024 Period. The second award is ranked 1st Best Work Unit for Achieving the Value of Budget Implementation Performance Indicators for Semester II Year 2024 in the PTN BH \/ BLU Satker category.<\/p>\n

Head of the ITS Finance Bureau Diana Ekawati ST CMA revealed that the Ministry of Finance’s award is a government effort to encourage work units, including educational institutions to work optimally. According to her, this achievement aims to ignite institutional performance in managing budgets and being accountable for finances according to regulations. \u201cThis opportunity is a means of evaluation and transparency of budget management work units,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n

Exploring the first award in more detail, Diana explained that ITS managed to outperform the reconciliation of internal budget reports. Simply put, added Diana, reconciliation is the process of harmonizing an institution’s budget report with the source documents of KPPN Surabaya I. \u201cThis data alignment is carried out every month with ten financial document requirements met,\u201d explained the alumnus of the ITS Industrial Engineering Department<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"KepalaHead of ITS Finance Bureau Diana Ekawati ST CMA explained the success of ITS in obtaining two outstanding achievements from the Indonesian Ministry of Finance.<\/span><\/p>\n

As for the second award, Diana explained that this award evaluates the quality of budget implementation performance based on four parameters. Namely parameters on planning, effectiveness of budget implementation, efficiency of budget implementation, and compliance with regulations. \u201cLater, the assessment will be reviewed based on predetermined performance indicators,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Diana continued, the performance indicators include the revision of the Budget Implementation List (DIPA), deviation changes, budget absorption, shopping contract list, and bill fulfillment. In addition, management and additional supply money, dispensation of Pay Order (SPM), and budget achievements are also aspects that will be reviewed.<\/p>\n

This Surabaya-born woman continued, the assessment of these indicators will be processed into two supporting values. Among them are the value of Budget Performance Evaluation from the Integrated Monitoring and Analysis System (SMART) Application and the value of the Online Budget Implementation Performance Indicator Monitoring State Treasury and Budget System (OM-SPAN). \u201cWith a weight of 60 percent and 40 percent respectively, then processed into the final value, namely the Budget Performance Value,\u201d said Diana.<\/p>\n

He underlined that these two ITS achievements are a solution step because they can be a benchmark for ITS performance in managing the budget better. Not only that, this achievement is also in line with the mandate and objectives of ITS in improving aspects of compliance with applicable regulations. \u201cHopefully this regulatory compliance culture can become a good work cycle for ITS in managing finances transparently,\u201d Diana hoped.<\/p>\n

ITS successes and achievements are in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 8 program, namely decent work and economic growth. ITS compliance with regulations is an ITS effort to create a good working environment for workers and institutions.
