Sejalan dengan hal tersebut, tim mahasiswa<a href=\"http:\/\/its.ac.id\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS)<\/a> berinovasi untuk menciptakan konsep gedung <em>Eco-Quake<\/em>, bangunan tahan gempa yang menerapkan prinsip keberlanjutan.<\/h4>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Ketua tim ASURA ITS Handika Ardhi Nugraha menjelaskan bahwa konsep bangunan ini memiliki kemampuan optimal dalam mengatasi tantangan gempa bumi yang kerap terjadi di Indonesia. Bukan hanya itu, inovasi tersebut pun dirancang dengan mempertimbangkan aspek keberlanjutan agar lebih efisien dalam penggunaan energi dan ramah terhadap lingkungan.<\/p>\n<p>Handika menambahkan, kunci keberhasilan prototipe gedung ini dapat tahan akan guncangan gempa adalah berkat penerapan konsep <em>Strong Column Weak Beam<\/em> (SCWB). Tim asal <a href=\"http:\/\/its.ac.id\/tis\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Departemen Teknik Infrastruktur Sipil ITS<\/a> tersebut menekankan pentingnya kekuatan kolom bangunan sebagai kunci tangguhnya suatu bangunan. Material ini dinilai ramah lingkungan karena menggunakan bahan-bahan alternatif seperti cangkang telur dan serbuk granit. Selain itu, semen ini juga dinilai memiliki tingkat efisiensi yang tinggi karena kemampuan semen untuk memadat sendiri dalam waktu yang lebih cepat dari beton biasa.<\/p>\n<p>Selain faktor bahan material, mahasiswa asal Trenggalek itu menekankan terkait pentingnya mempertimbangkan faktor lingkungan dalam membangun struktur tahan gempa. Hasilnya, diperoleh bahwa struktur bangunan hanya mengalami simpangan sebesar 2,011 milimeter yang mengindikasikan bahwa bangunan memiliki tingkat ketahanan yang baik terhadap guncangan gempa.<\/p>\n<p>Dengan segala rancangan yang telah diperhitungkan, tim ASURA telah membuktikan bahwa desainnya mampu menghadapi tantangan nyata di lapangan setelah berhasil bertahan selama pengujian selama satu menit. Meskipun terdapat beberapa kerusakan minor, keberhasilan ini membuka peluang besar untuk menerapkan teknologi ini pada pembangunan gedung-gedung di masa depan, terutama daerah rawan gempa.<\/p>\n<p>Lewat inovasinya tersebut, Handika bersama rekan setimnya Bayu Anggoro Sekti, telah berhasil meraih juara III Kompetisi Model Bangunan Gedung Beton Pracetak pada gelaran <a href=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/2024\/10\/11\/membanggakan-its-bawa-pulang-empat-penghargaan-di-kbgi-2024\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kompetisi Bangunan Gedung Indonesia XV 2024<\/a>, beberapa waktu lalu.
