Merespons isu ini, tim Kuliah Kerja Nyata Pengabdian Masyarakat (KKN Abmas)<a href=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/2024\/06\/22\/vokasi-its-resmikan-devits-tim-pengembangan-wirausaha-di-fakultas\/\"> Fakultas Vokasi<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/its.ac.id\">Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember<\/a> (FV ITS) inovasikan mesin <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">proofer<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> berbasis mikrokontroler untuk meningkatkan efisiensi produksi roti.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ketua tim KKN Abmas Mashuri SSi MT menjelaskan, eksistensi UMKM merupakan aspek penting dalam menjaga stabilitas ekonomi masyarakat. Meski demikian, masih banyak UMKM, khususnya UMKM berbasis produk makanan yang produktivitasnya belum maksimal. Apabila isu ini tidak diatasi segera, dampaknya akan berpengaruh buruk terhadap realisasi Sustainable <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Development Goals (SDGs). &#8220;Tepatnya poin kedelapan, terkait pertumbuhan ekonomi yang inklusif dan berkelanjutan,\u201d terang Mashuri.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Menjawab tantangan tersebut, Mashuri dan timnya menginisiasi inovasi pembuatan mesin <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">proofer <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">ini. Kemudian, temperatur dan kelembapan yang dibaca oleh sensor dapat dipantau melalui layar LCD pada mesin. Dengan ini, proses <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">proofing<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> roti dapat berjalan lebih efektif dan kualitas roti yang dihasilkan akan lebih merata.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Selain itu, dosen Departemen Teknik Mesin Industri ITS tersebut menyampaikan, inovasi <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">proofer<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> ini dapat dikontrol secara otomatis sehingga lebih mempermudah pengguna.\u00a0 Tak hanya itu, dari segi efisiensi waktu, proses <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">proofing<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> yang semula memakan waktu satu jam secara manual dapat dipangkas menjadi 25 menit saja. Ke depan, Mashuri mengungkapkan, timnya akan terus melakukan perbaikan sistem guna menyempurnakan performa mesin ini.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Sebagai wujud implementasi, teknologi <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">proofer <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">ini telah diperkenalkan pada UMKM Rastarindo melalui program pelatihan Agustus lalu yang dilaksanakan di Desa Tambakasri, Kabupaten Malang.
