Menyadari hal tersebut, tim Kuliah Kerja Nyata dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (KKN Abmas) <a href=\"http:\/\/its.ac.id\">Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS)<\/a> mengembangkan sistem pemantau kualitas air dengan mengaplikasikan <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Internet of Things<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (IoT). <\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Inovasi yang berhasil diimplementasikan di Dusun Kajar, Kecamatan Bumiaji, Kota Batu tersebut mendukung implementasi dua tujuan Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Inovasi tersebut mencapai tujuan poin 11, pembangunan ekosistem berkelanjutan, melalui pemantauan kualitas air. Selain itu, inovasi ini turut mendukung terwujudnya poin 9, infrastruktur, industri, dan inovasi dengan menerapkan teknologi sensor berbasis IoT.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dosen pembimbing tim KKN Abmas Dr techn Ir Raden Venantius Hari Ginardi MSc mengungkapkan bahwa kegiatan budi daya udang dapat menghasilkan produk udang yang sehat dan layak konsumsi apabila lingkungan berada dalam kondisi ideal. Komponen utama dalam sistem ini adalah alat yang dipasangkan pada kolam udang yang terhubung dengan aplikasi pemantau secara <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">real-time<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. \u201cAlat ini kemudian dipasangkan pada kolam fiber tempat budi daya udang,\u201d papar Hari.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dosen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/it\/id\/beranda\/\">Departemen Teknologi Informasi ITS<\/a> tersebut menambahkan bahwa alat ini dilengkapi beberapa sensor yang dapat menilai kualitas air berdasarkan beberapa parameter, seperti sensor <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Total Dissolved Solids<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (TDS) yang mengukur total padatan yang terlarut dalam air. Selain itu, terdapat pula sensor untuk mengukur suhu, pH, kekeruhan, tingkat amonia, salinitas atau kadar garam, serta oksigen terlarut dalam air.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Lebih lanjut, Hari menjelaskan alur kerja sistem pemantau kualitas air tersebut dimulai dengan menghubungkan alat ke internet. Selepas itu, alat yang telah mengumpulkan data parameter kualitas air akan terhubung dengan komputer. Hal tersebut memungkinkan pengelola budi daya udang jenis <em>vaname<\/em> di unit usaha Omah Tuwek tersebut mengambil langkah antisipasi untuk menjaga kualitas ekosistem perairan tetap optimal. \u201cKami pun telah memberikan edukasi terkait cara penggunaan sistem ini kepada unit usaha dan masyarakat,\u201d tambahnya.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Lewat hadirnya sistem budi daya yang adaptif terhadap kondisi lingkungan perairan ini, Hari berharap dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas produksi udang.
