Kecerdasan emosional adalah kemampuan mengenali perasaan diri sendiri dan orang lain, memotivasi diri, dan mengelola emosi dengan baik.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Lebih lanjut, dosen Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Airlangga (Unair) ini menjelaskan bahwa kecerdasan emosional dapat diterapkan dalam bentuk keterampilan sosial emosional (KSE), suatu keterampilan yang berhubungan dengan pengetahuan, kecakapan, dan sikap dalam aspek sosial dan emosional. Dalam penerapannya di kehidupan sehari-hari, keterampilan ini terdiri dari lima poin, yakni kesadaran diri, manajemen diri, kesadaran sosial, keterampilan berelasi, dan pengambilan keputusan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Menjelaskan poin KSE yang pertama, Atika mengajak peserta untuk mengidentifikasi emosi apa yang dialami baru-baru ini. Seseorang dengan kecerdasan emosional yang baik akan menilai emosi dirinya secara objektif. Sebaliknya, orang dengan kecerdasan emosional yang kurang baik akan hanya berfokus pada emosi negatif, berpura-pura merasakan emosi positif, dan berbohong mengenai perasaan yang dialami.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Beralih ke poin KSE kedua, Atika menjelaskan bahwa manajemen diri adalah kemampuan untuk mengelola emosi, pikiran, dan perilaku diri secara efektif dalam berbagai situasi. Pada poin keempat KSE ini, Atika menekankan bahwa empati menjadi kunci utama dalam menghapus prasangka. \u201cDengan demikian, saat berada dalam situasi tertentu, kita akan lebih hati-hati dalam bertindak dan tidak cepat berprasangka buruk,&#8221; ujarnya.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Tak hanya itu, keterampilan berelasi juga penting dalam membangun dan mempertahankan hubungan kerja yang sehat dan suportif. Keterampilan ini dapat dilakukan melalui teknik komunikasi yang baik.\u00a0 Contohnya seperti memberikan respon yang aktif ataupun menggunakan pernyataan diri (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">I-Message)<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> untuk bersikap tegas tanpa membuat lawan bicara tertuduh dalam situasi yang tidak nyaman.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Melanjutkan materi, perempuan berkacamata ini menjelaskan, poin terakhir KSE adalah pengambilan keputusan dengan mempertimbangkan berbagai aspek demi kesejahteraan bersama. Pengambilan keputusan yang baik dapat dicapai dengan mengevaluasi situasi, menganalisis alternatif solusi, dan mempertimbangkan konsekuensi dari solusi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Terakhir, Atika menyampaikan bahwa mempelajari kecerdasan emosional bukanlah hal yang mudah, tetapi kita dapat memulai secara perlahan untuk kemudian menemukan jati diri kita. \u201cKeterampilan menggunakan kecerdasan emosional harus diusahakan sedikit demi sedikit.
