Dengan reputasi tersebut, ITS memperoleh penghargaan Jawa Pos 7 Most Popular Brand of The Year 2024 kategori perguruan tinggi, Selasa (3\/9).<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Penyematan penghargaan ini merupakan bagian dari rangkaian ulang tahun Jawa Pos ke-75. Rektor ITS Ir Bambang Pramujati ST MT MScEng PhD menyampaikan, ajang penghargaan ini merupakan cara Jawa Pos dalam menunjukkan kapasitasnya sebagai media yang berkualitas. Media pemberitaan ini memberi wawasan pada masyarakat mengenai jenama berkualitas, populer, serta bercitra positif. \u201cIni bisa jadi referensi bagi masyarakat untuk selalu objektif dalam memilih <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">brand <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">yang tepat,\u201d ujarnya.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Penghargaan ini berhasil diraih oleh ITS berdasarkan hasil survei yang dilakukan oleh Jawa Pos di 20 kota besar di Indonesia. Dari 19 ribu orang responden yang ditanyai mengenai perguruan tinggi di Jawa Timur yang terlintas di pikiran pertama kali, ITS menjadi salah satu yang paling sering disebut. \u201cKeselarasan antara visi, misi, strategi, serta sinergi yang kuat menjadi salah satu kunci ITS meraih prestasi ini,\u201d imbuh pria yang akrab disapa BP tersebut.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Selaras dengan pernyataan BP, Kepala Unit Komunikasi Publik ITS Dr Rahmatsyam Lakoro SSn MT menyebut, penghargaan ini merupakan buah dari konsistensi ITS dalam menjunjung nilai-nilainya, salah satunya <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Advancing Humanity<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. Nilai ini kemudian diimplementasikan pada berbagai aspek, mulai dari sikap, perilaku, dan karya. \u201cSalah satu yang membuat ITS lebih dikenal adalah dari bagaimana dampak yang diterima oleh masyarakat dari keberadaan kampus ini,\u201d ujarnya.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Lebih lanjut, dosen Departemen Desain Komunikasi Visual (DKV) ITS ini juga mengungkapkan bahwa kesadaran masyarakat terhadap ITS merupakan hasil dari kontribusi semua pihak. Tanpanya, nama ITS tentu tidak akan mampu sepopuler sekarang. Menurutnya, dalam menaikkan nama ITS tidak cukup hanya dengan membuat logo dan menaruh slogan-slogan.
