Kampus ITS, ITS News \u2014 <\/b>Wujudkan komitmen dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS)<\/a> melalui Departemen Teknik Infrastruktur Sipil (DTIS)<\/a> hadirkan Pelatihan Pemasangan Bata Ringan. Pelatihan yang bertujuan untuk mendukung program Dandan Omah milik Pemerintah Kota Surabaya ini berlangsung di Kampus ITS Manyar, Surabaya selama tiga hari mulai Senin (29\/7).<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Kepala DTIS ITS, Mohamad Khoiri ST MT PhD mengungkapkan bahwa pelatihan ini hadir untuk memberikan bekal kompetensi kepada Satuan Tugas (Satgas) Dinas Perumahan Rakyat dan Kawasan Permukiman serta Pertanahan (DPRKPP) Kota Surabaya dalam program Dandan Omah. \u201cSetelah menjalankan pelatihan, Satgas diharapkan dapat menjadi tukang yang terampil,\u201d tuturnya alumnus National Taiwan University Of Science And Technology tersebut. <\/span><\/p>\n

Lebih lanjut, Khoiri menjelaskan keterampilan pemasangan material bata ringan sebagai komponen utama penyusun dinding rumah menjadi fokus pelatihan kali ini. Pemilihan penggunaan bata ringan didasari oleh sejumlah keunggulannya, seperti pemasangan lebih mudah, ukuran lebih presisi, serta lebih kedap panas dan suara.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pelatihan yang diselenggarakan oleh Laboratorium Manajemen Pelaksanaan Konstruksi DTIS ITS ini turut menggandeng produsen bata ringan CITICON sebagai pengisi materi. Pemaparan materi tersebut meliputi material bata ringan sebagai penyusun dinding serta teknis pemasangannya. \u201cIlmu Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja (K3) serta motivasi juga diberikan untuk meningkatkan semangat dan kewaspadaan Satgas ketika bertugas,\u201d imbuh lelaki kelahiran Nganjuk tersebut.<\/span><\/p>\n

Selanjutnya, sesi praktik turut dijalankan agar para peserta dapat menerapkan langsung ilmu pemasangan bata ringan<\/a> yang telah didapatkan. Tidak hanya pemasangan bata ringan, sejumlah praktik penunjang turut dilakukan. Di antaranya pemasangan dinding siku dan sambungan kolom cor, instalasi listrik dan lubang jendela, serta pembuatan dan pengaplikasian bahan plesteran dan acian.<\/span><\/p>\n

Khoiri melanjutkan, pelatihan dan kerja sama yang telah berlangsung selama tiga tahun ini hadir sebagai aksi nyata dalam membantu pemerintah dan masyarakat Kota Surabaya. \u201cProgram ini berupa perbaikan rumah tidak layak huni dengan kondisi rusak dan berpotensi menimbulkan bahaya bagi penghuninya,\u201d tambahnya.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Kunci utama keberhasilan program Dandan Omah adalah keterampilan Satgas DPRKPP Kota Surabaya sebagai tukang bangunan. Maka, rangkaian pelatihan DTIS ITS ini hadir sebagai dukungan keberhasilan program. \u201cSemoga kerja sama ini terus menghadirkan pelatihan dengan kualitas yang lebih baik dan luas lagi ke depannya,\u201d tutup Khoiri.
