Kampus ITS, ITS News \u2014 <\/b>Selain untuk menjalankan syariat agama Islam, khitan juga memberikan manfaat dalam kesehatan. Oleh karena itu, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember<\/a> (ITS) gelar Khitanan Massal di Gedung Fakultas Kedokteran dan Kesehatan<\/a> (FKK) ITS, Sabtu (6\/7).<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Dekan FKK ITS, <\/span>Dr dr Imam Susilo SpPA(K) FISCM MIAP menjelaskan, <\/span>acara Khitanan Massal tersebut merupakan bagian dari rangkaian Dies Natalis ITS ke-64. Agenda ini bukanlah yang pertama kalinya dilaksanakan oleh ITS. \u201cPada tahun lalu ITS juga melaksanakan Khitanan Massal dalam rangka menyambut Dies Natalis ITS ke-63,\u201d ungkap Imam.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lebih lanjut, Imam mengungkapkan bahwa acara kali ini merupakan agenda yang sangat penting sebab tidak hanya menyangkut perihal dunia, tetapi juga akhirat. Oleh karena itu, ITS menggandeng berbagai pihak untuk menyukseskan acara ini. Di antaranya adalah Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Dr. Soetomo, Universitas Airlangga, Dinas Kesehatan Kota Surabaya, dan Pemerintah Kota Surabaya.<\/span><\/p>\n

Melalui kerjasama tersebut, ITS berkomitmen untuk memberikan pelayanan terbaiknya bagi para peserta Khitanan Massal. Salah satunya adalah dengan menghadirkan tenaga-tenaga yang kompeten untuk menangani 99 anak peserta Khitanan Massal kali ini. \u201cSelain itu kami juga memilih dan menyediakan obat yang terbaik juga karena kita tentu tidak boleh mengecewakan masyarakat,\u201d tambahnya.<\/span><\/p>\n

Turut menghadiri acara, Wali Kota Surabaya Eri Cahyadi ST MT menyampaikan bahwa agenda ini perlu diadakan untuk membentuk pemimpin masa depan yang baik. Menurutnya, pemimpin yang baik adalah yang tidak hanya kuat secara fisik dan ilmu, melainkan juga dalam akidah agamanya. \u201cBagi umat muslim, salah satu bentuk menjalankan akidah agamanya adalah melalui khitanan ini,\u201d terangnya.<\/span><\/p>\n

Eri berharap agar anak-anak yang dikhitan pada Khitanan Massal ini menjadi anak yang sehat dan berakhlak mulia. Selanjutnya, dirinya juga berdoa agar agenda ini dapat memberikan keberkahan bagi semua pihak, khususnya ITS. \u201cSaya berharap agar kita tidak berhenti berbuat kebaikan pada hari ini saja dan dapat berbuat kebaikan di hari-hari selanjutnya,\u201d pungkasnya. <\/span>(*)<\/b><\/p>\n
