ITS Campus, ITS News<\/strong> – In the period 2020 – 2023, the scholarship disbursement budget collected by Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) both internal and external has increased significantly by 300 percent. Recorded in 2020, ITS has managed to disburse scholarship funds amounting to Rp. 33.3 billion and continues to increase every year until in 2023 it managed to touch Rp. 90.37 billion.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

ITS Director of Student Affairs Dr. Imam Abadi ST MT revealed that the ITS scholarship service has also successfully achieved ISO 9001: 2015 certification. This certification is concrete evidence that the system applied to scholarship services at ITS has been well-guaranteed. “This achievement cannot be separated from the hard work of friends in the ITS scholarship service section,” he explained during the scholarship receipt report in a series of ITS Big Family Halal Bihalal events at Graha Sepuluh November ITS, on Tuesday (16\/4).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In line with the above statement, the lecturer at the Department of Physics Engineering ITS explained that the number of ITS students receiving scholarships has also increased. Compared to 2020, in 2023 as many as 22 percent of total ITS students have received scholarships. “ITS targets that by 2024 at least 30 percent of ITS students will receive scholarships,” said the lecturer who is familiarly called Ibad.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

One of the scholarships available at ITS is the Kartu Indonesia Pintar – Kuliah Scholarship (KIP-K). The KIP-K budget itself has increased in 2023 to Rp 50 billion. This is in line with the number of KIP-K recipients in 2023 of 3,689 students, an increase compared to the previous year of 2,849 people.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to the KIP-K scholarship, ITS also has the Lembaga Pengelola Dana Abadi ITS Scholarship (LPDA-ITS). The scholarship is divided into three categories, namely the Dana Abadi Bebas Sumbangan Pengembangan Institusi Scholarship (SPI) which in 2023 was given to 46 students with a total nominal value of Rp 1.58 billion, the Dana Abadi Bantuan Uang Kuliah Tunggal Scholarship (UKT) for 126 ITS students with a total of Rp 435 million, and the Dana Abadi Biaya HidupScholarship of Rp 1.88 billion for 313 KIP-K scheme 2 students. So the total scholarship budget that has been disbursed by LPDA-ITS until 2023 is recorded at IDR 3.895 billion.<\/span><\/p>\n

Regarding the target ITS scholarship recipients, Ibad stated that in 2024 ITS has launched a new scholarship program, namely the Asih Scholarship. This scholarship is specifically for students who have financial constraints. Students can register themselves and complete the existing files on the official portal beasiswaasih.its.ac.id<\/a> before verification from the Directorate of Student Affairs (Ditmawa) ITS.
