Pradipta Rahman Hakim, alumnus Teknik Perkapalan ITS yang berhasil meraih penghargaan Young Designer of the Year\u00a02024\u00a0di\u00a0Austria<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Kampus ITS, ITS News \u2013 <\/strong>Menunjukkan dedikasinya dalam mendukung sektor industri dan maritim di Indonesia, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS)<\/a> berhasil melahirkan kebanggaan baru melalui prestasi alumninya. Lewat sebuah konsep desain kapal pesiar, salah satu alumnus ITS berhasil meraih penghargaan Young Designer of the Year 2024 yang diserahkan di Kitzb\u00fchel, Austria, 28 Januari 2024 lalu.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Ialah Pradipta Rahman Hakim, desainer muda berprestasi yang berhasil meraih gelar prestisius dalam ajang Boat International Design & Innovation Awards<\/em> 2024. Melalui desainnya yang memukau, lelaki yang akrab disapa Dipta ini berhasil menarik perhatian Feadship, sebuah perusahaan industri dan desain kapal kelas atas yang menjadi sponsor utama dalam penghargaan tersebut.<\/p>\n

Dalam desain yang diberi nama Blueminance tersebut, alumnus Teknik Perkapalan ITS<\/a> ini berfokus untuk menyajikan konsep kapal yang menekankan pada fungsionalitas tanpa mengesampingkan unsur estetika. Desain futuristik yang dibuatnya berhasil dipresentasikan dengan baik melalui seni yang kuat, didukung oleh perencanaan penataan yang sangat baik dan interior yang menarik.<\/p>\n

Selama melakukan riset, Dipta mengaku banyak terinspirasi dari semangat dan komitmen Feadship terhadap keahlian dan inovasi di sektor maritim. Selain itu, sorotan utama dari konsep karyanya mencakup area relaksasi terbuka yang luas di bagian belakang, dan menampilkan kolam renang sebagai pusatnya. \u201cMenurut saya, penting untuk memberikan ruang terbuka dalam beraktivitas di tengah laut,\u201d tutur alumnus lulusan tahun 2018 ini.<\/p>\n

Keberhasilan Dipta bukanlah sebuah kebetulan, melainkan hasil dari kegigihan dan semangat pantang menyerahnya. Setelah mencoba sebanyak tiga kali, Dipta akhirnya keluar sebagai desainer terbaik dengan membuktikan bahwa kesuksesan datang kepada yang memiliki dedikasi. \u201cHal ini juga tidak terlepas dari pengalaman kerja di perusahaan konsultan desain dan kegagalan yang sempat saya alami di tahun sebelumnya,\u201d tambah lelaki asal Magelang tersebut.<\/p>\n

Lebih lanjut, Dipta menceritakan proses pelaksanaan perlombaan yang panjang dan penilaian yang cukup ketat oleh para juri dari industri superyacht<\/em>. Selama lima bulan pengerjaan pun, ia secara aktif menutupi kekurangannya dengan memperdalam pengetahuan mengenai sistem rendering<\/em>, ilmu desain interior, hingga menemukan mentor dari sumber online<\/em>. \u201cKendala terbesar yang saya hadapi juga terletak pada industri kapal yang belum banyak berkembang di Indonesia,\u201d ungkap Dipta yang saat ini berkarir sebagai konsultan desain di Bali.<\/p>\n

Dipta tidak hanya mencatatkan namanya dalam penghargaan, tapi juga memberikan sorotan terhadap kondisi maritim di Indonesia, baik dari segi industri maupun desain. Di tengah perkembangan teknologi dan tren global, ia berharap agar Indonesia terus maju dalam sektor perkapalan dan ITS sebagai kampus terbaik di bidangnya dapat terus mendukung kemajuan tersebut.<\/p>\n

Sebagai langkah ke depan, Dipta berkomitmen untuk terus berkontribusi pada kemajuan desain kapal, baik di Indonesia maupun tingkat internasional. Ia berharap prestasinya dapat menjadi inspirasi bagi desainer muda lainnya terutama dari ITS, sehingga dapat mendorong pertumbuhan industri kapal pesiar di tanah air. “Dengan semangat dan aspirasi tinggi, Indonesia akan mampu berkembang dalam sektor maritim untuk pembangunan bangsa,” kata Dipta optimistis.
