Kampus ITS, ITS News \u2013 <\/strong><\/span>Terus aktif berinovasi, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS)<\/a> kembali meraih prestasi gemilang di kompetisi internasional. Kali ini, kolaborasi Matching Fund (MF) Kedaireka ITS x PT Pelindo Terminal Petikemas (TPK) berhasil membawa pulang enam penghargaan dari Kaohsiung International Invention and Design Expo (KIDE) 2023 di Taiwan.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Ketua MF Kedaireka ITS x PT Pelindo TPK Dr Adithya Sudiarno IDipNEBOSH GradIOSH menjelaskan bahwa MF Kedaireka sendiri merupakan program dari Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi (Kemendikbudristek) RI. \u201cPada program ini, perguruan tinggi berkolaborasi dengan Dunia Usaha dan Dunia Industri (DUDI) untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra DUDI,\u201d jelas dosen Departemen Teknik Sistem dan Industri (DTSI) ITS<\/a> tersebut.<\/p>\n

Dalam program ini, ITS berkolaborasi dengan PT Pelindo TPK untuk membuat teknologi yang dapat mendukung pelatihan bagi pegawai di perusahaan tersebut guna mengenali potensi bahaya di sekitarnya. Terdapat tujuh orang dosen ITS dan 12 orang mahasiswa DTSI ITS yang tergabung sebagai peneliti dalam mengembangkan teknologi tersebut. Hasil dari kolaborasi inilah yang dibawa oleh tim ITS dan PT Pelindo TPK untuk berkompetisi di KIDE 2023 yang dilaksanakan selama tiga hari, mulai 30 November lalu.<\/p>\n

Dosen yang biasa disapa Adith ini mengungkapkan bahwa pada KIDE 2023 ini MF Kedaireka ITS x PT Pelindo TPK membawa dua inovasi untuk berlaga dengan 398 karya inovasi lain dari 30 negara yang berbeda. \u201cKedua inovasi tersebut adalah K3I.verse yang bertanding di kategori Educational Item dan Bandar Safety<\/em> yang berkompetisi di kategori Information Communication Technology and Media<\/em>,\u201d ungkap dosen Laboratorium Ergonomi dan Perancangan Sistem Kerja (EPSK) DTSI ITS ini.<\/p>\n

Menjelaskan masing-masing inovasi, Adith memaparkan, K3I.verse merupakan teknologi identifikasi bahaya berbasis metaverse<\/em> yang dapat digunakan sebagai media pelatihan bagi pegawai PT Pelindo TPK. Inovasi ini berhasil meraih tiga penghargaan di KIDE 2023, yaitu Platinum Award dari World Invention Intellectual Property Associations (WIIPA), Gold Medal dari President of the International Jury of KIDE 2023, dan Special Award dari ALROSA (perusahaan dari Rusia).<\/p>\n

Sedangkan Bandar Safety merupakan produk aplikasi berupa ekosistem website<\/em> yang memuat berbagai macam alat untuk mengendalikan risiko di lingkungan kerja. Sama seperti K3I.verse, inovasi ini juga meraih tiga penghargaan di KIDE 2023. Ketiga penghargaan tersebut adalah Silver Medal dari WIIPA, Special Award dari Korea University Invention Association (Korea Selatan), dan Special Award<\/em> dari Highly Innovative Unique Foundation (Kerajaan Arab Saudi).<\/p>\n

Dalam hal ini, Adith berharap agar ke depannya inovasi ini dapat terus berkembang dan memberikan dampak bagi masyarakat. Selain itu, ia juga mengakui bahwa banyak pihak yang saling bahu-membahu di balik capaian ini.
