Buat apa? Banyak lulusan Sourbone yang pulang dari sana hanya membaca buku, di-<em>resume<\/em>, kemudian diceritakan kembali,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d tutur Iman.<\/p>\n<p>Selama ini, lanjut Iman, mahasiswa hanya terpaku pada satu hal. Contohnya, mereka mengenal Thomas Alfa Edison hanya sebagai penemu. Padahal, Thomas punya sisi kehidupan lain sebagai seorang <em>entrepreneur<\/em>. Terbukti sebuah pabrik berlogo General Electric (GE) yang didirikannya masih mendunia sejak 1878. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Kalau begitu monyet vs sarjana bisa dikatakan menang monyet. Monyet saja bisa menghasilkan uang setelah diajari atraksi. Tapi sarjana malah <em>nganggur<\/em>,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d celetuk Iman yang disambut gelak tawa puluhan mahasiswa.<\/p>\n<p>Karena terlalu sering menggunakan produk asing, menurut Iman, masyarakat Indonesia tak benar-benar berkembang <em>entrepreneurship<\/em>-nya. Tak terhitung jumlah merk produk asing yang dikonsumsi. Mulai dari Nestle, GE, sampai McD. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Sebanyak 15 persen orang Amerika berprofesi sebagai entrepreneur. Sedangkan Indonesia hanya 0,18 persen,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d jelas Iman yang juga lulusan Teknik Mesin ITS.<\/p>\n<p>Lalu bagaimana cara berpikir mahasiswa agar sukses ber-<em>entrepreneur<\/em> ? &quot;Jadilah orang yang merasa <em>goblok <\/em>(kurang pandai, Red),&quot; tutur Iman. Ia kemudian menyebutkan bahwa orang bodoh itu ada empat macam. Antara lain, orang bodoh yang tidak menyadari dirinya bodoh bahkan membodoh-bodohkan orang lain, orang bodoh yang menyadari dirinya bodoh tetapi tidak mau belajar dan minder, orang bodoh yang menyadari dirinya bodoh kemudian belajar, menjadi pintar dan merasa pintar, dan orang bodoh yang menyadari dirinya bodoh, belajar menjadi pintar tapi tetap merasa bodoh.<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Kalau mahasiswa selalu merasa pintar, mereka tidak akan pernah belajar dari orang yang telah sukses menjadi <em>entrepreneur<\/em>,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d ungkapnya. Ia juga menuturkan menjadi entrepreneur itu perlu tiga karakter. Yaitu, cinta bidangnya, dapat uang, dan ahli. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Fokus satu bidang, kemudian pupuk keahlian. Maka bidang itu akan menjadi lahan bisnis,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d lanjut Iman.<\/p>\n<p>Tak hanya berbagi tips jitu menjadi <em>entrepreneur<\/em>, penulis yang telah menulis tujuh buku dengan tajuk <em>entrepreneurship<\/em> ini juga berbagi kisah para <em>entrepreneur<\/em> sukses. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Oleh karena itu, PR pertama menjadi seorang<em> entrepreneur<\/em> adalah jangan minta makan pada orang tua,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d celetuk Iman menutup acara tersebut.
