Kali ini, tim Pengabdian Masyarakat (Abmas) Produk<a href=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/\"> Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS)<\/a> merancang desain Bendung Gandong Kerik untuk dukung proses renovasi karena mengalami kerusakan infrastruktur. <\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ketua tim dosen Abmas ini, Ir M Hafiizh Imaaduddiin MT menjelaskan, Bendung Gandong Kerik tidak dapat berfungsi sejak 2021 silam. Hal ini berdampak pada proses irigasi 745 hektar lahan dan sumber mata air di delapan desa yang menjadi terganggu. \u201cSolusi dari petani membuat bendung darurat dari <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">sandbag<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, tetapi hasilnya tidak semaksimal bendung awal,\u201d ungkapnya.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dari hal tersebut, ITS bersama Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (PU) Jawa Timur dan Magetan berkolaborasi mengatasi permasalahan itu. Perangkat lunak HEC-RAS Ver.6 dan ANSYS Fluent turut digunakan untuk mendukung perhitungan tersebut. \u201cBendung tipe Ogee dipilih karena menunjukkan aliran balik yang paling aman dan memenuhi beberapa kriteria dari Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI),\u201d ungkapnya.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Di akhir, Focus Group Discussion (FGD) diadakan untuk lebih memahami permasalahan yang ada dan menjawab kebutuhan masyarakat.
