Momen puncaknya yaitu di<em>launching<\/em> maskot,&quot; ujar Fiqi, sebagai ketua pelaksana. Mahasiswa yang menjabat sebagai staf dalam negeri ini juga menjelaskan bahwa pada acara UTA dibentuk IKA (Ikatan Alumni) BEM FTI yang diketuai oleh Rizal, mantan Sekretaris Jenderal (Sekjen) eksternal.<\/p>\n<p>Saat acara berlangsung, terlihat canda tawa antara alumni BEM FTI dan pengurus, tak terlihat suatu kecanggungan diantara mereka. &quot;Saat kembali kesini, Saya teringat hal yang menyenangkan. Misalnya waktu <em>nongkrong<\/em> sore-sore bersama teman- teman,&quot; kenang Nurhadi Yusuf, mantan Presiden BEM FTI 2005\/2006. Pria yang sekarang bekerja di ASTRA tersebut juga membagi- bagi kisahnya saat masih berada di BEM FTI dalam <em>sharing session<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Saat acara berlangsung, para tamu dibuat penasaran dengan maskot yang ditutup oleh kain putih. Maskot di l<em>aunching <\/em>pada akhir acara oleh Presiden BEM FTI, Asrori Afa. Maskot BEM FTI bernama Red Gearrior. &quot;Red Gearrior memiliki filosofi sendiri di tiap bagiannya,&quot; jelas Fiqi. Red Gearrior berbentuk sebuah patung berwarna merah yang memiliki sembilan mahkota, sepuluh bulu sayap dan sabuk bertuliskan BEM FTI. <\/p>\n<p>Sembilan mahkota dimaksudkan 9 himpunan yang berada di Fakultas Teknologi Industri, lanjut Afa. Afa menjelaskan sepuluh bulu sayap menandakan maskot tersebut dikelurkan saat FTI berusia sepuluh tahun. Sabuk bertuliskan BEM FTI berarti maskot tersebut maskot dari BEM FTI. &quot;Sedangkan warna merah adalah warna ciri khas dari FTI sendiri,&quot; terang Afa.<\/p>\n<p>Afa berharap diusia kesepuluh BEM FTI akan ada tiga hal yang dicapai. pertama, BEM FTI menjadi lebih baik. Kedua, Dapat mencapai visi sebagai <em>great organization<\/em>. Ketiga, rangkaian acara sepuluh tahun BEM FTI dapat bermanfaat bagi ormawa lain di ITS. &quot;Serta dapat membuka era merketing BEM FTI menjadi lebih baik,&quot; jelas Afa selaku Presiden BEM FTI.
