Guru Besar D<a href=\"http:\/\/its.ac.id\/tindustri\">epartemen Teknik Sistem dan Industri (DTSI)<\/a> dari Fakultas Teknologi Industri dan Rekayasa Sistem (FTIRS) ini siap untuk membawa ITS ke era <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">research and innovative university<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> dengan berbagai program unggulannya.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Profesor yang akrab disapa Gunani ini memandang bahwa ITS merupakan perguruan tinggi yang memiliki semangat gotong royong yang tinggi. Selama 33 tahun ia mengabdi, ITS telah menunjukan sisi keadilannya dalam memberikan kesempatan kepada seluruh gender baik itu perempuan maupun laki-laki. Pada pemilihan rektor tahun ini, Gunani ingin membuktikan bahwa kehadirannya dalam pencalonan Rektor ITS ke depan merupakan sebuah bukti yang kuat bahwa ITS menjunjung tinggi keadilan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Berpengalaman menjadi Direktur Sumber Daya Manusia dan Organisasi (SDMO) ITS, Gunani berhasil mengukir berbagai prestasi di bidang akademik hingga nonakademik. Dalam sisi akademik, ia berhasil memperoleh jabatan fungsional tertinggi di jenjang pendidikan tinggi, yakni profesor. Selain akademik, ia juga berhasil melakukan berbagai pengabdian kepada masyarakat (abmas) baik di dalam ITS maupun di luar ITS. \u201cAbmas saya meliputi industri kecil, menengah, hingga berskala besar bahkan nasional,\u201d terangnya.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Menurut perempuan kelahiran Surabaya ini, dinamika di dalam sivitas akademika ITS merupakan kunci kesuksesan dalam mengembangkan ITS ke depan, khususnya dinamika manajemen. ITS perlu berjalan dengan cepat untuk mengejar efisiensi ITS dalam mencapai titel <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">research and innovative university<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. \u201cBaik buruknya pengalaman di ITS merupakan kunci refleksi diri untuk menjadi lebih baik,\u201d ujarnya.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dalam melancarkan visi ITS mencapai <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">research and innovative university<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, anak kelima dari tujuh bersaudara ini ingin membawa ITS lebih mengenal pada era industri 4.0 dan society 5.0. Baginya, ITS periode ke depan harus mengadaptasi prinsip <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Specific, Measurable, Relevant, and Time Bound <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">(SMART). \u201cDalam rencana strategis (renstra), saya akan melanjutkan perjuangan rektor sekarang dengan menanamkan nilai SMART ke ITS,\u201d tuturnya.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Tidak hanya prinsip yang diasah, alumnus doktoral Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB), Bogor tersebut menyatakan bahwa renstra yang ia susun tidak akan jauh dari Rencana Induk Pengembangan (Renip) yang dimiliki oleh ITS. Yakni salah satu <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">milestone <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">R<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">enip yang sudah dilakukan oleh rektor saat ini merupakan peletakkan tonggak pertama dalam mewujudkan <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">research and innovative university<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. \u201cSalah satu bentuk tonggak pertamanya berada pada perjuangan ITS menuju <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">World Class University <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">(WCU),\u201d katanya.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Demi kemajuan ITS yang melesat, Gunani siap membangun, menyeimbangkan, memaknai, dan mengayomi sivitas akademika ITS melalui Jargon M4D4ni (baca: Madani).
