PIMJ dilaksanakan untuk mencari bibit baru dari mahasiswa D3TEKSI. selain itu, pada acara inilah mahasiswa dapat menunjukkan kreatifitasnya agar dapat lebih berkembang. Pemenang dari lomba-lomba PIMJ, nantinya akan dikirim sebagai peserta Pekan Ilmiah Mahasiswa ITS (PIMITS) 2010.<\/p>\n<p>Bergelut di dunia teknik sipil tak selamanya hanya bisa bekerja sebagai kontraktor dan konsultan bangunan saja. Lapangan pekerjaan teknik sipil sebenarnya sangat luas. Tidak menutup kemungkinan untuk seseorang yang bergelut di dunia teknik sipil menjadi seorang pengusaha (wirausaha).<\/p>\n<p>Ir. Budhi Wibowo mengatakan bahwa seorang pebisnis harus bisa berperan layaknya seorang Ingredient Mixer. Ia mampu meramu atau mencampur berbagai bahan yang tersedia untuk mencapai sebuah tujuan. Selain itu, beliau juga mengajarkan bagaimana memasarkan produk dengan baik, mengatur strategi untuk pemasangan harga, dimana harusnya kita memasarkan produk, hingga distribusinya. Kemudian Budhi menjelaskan etika menawarkan barang, persiapan penjualan, dan cara penanggulangan jika menemui hambatan dalam penjualan.<\/p>\n<p>Aplikasi dari seminar ini cukup luas. Bahkan seorang mahasiswa pun bisa melakukannya. Contohnya, mahasiswa mengadakan sebuah kegiatan yang memerlukan dana sponsor dari perusahaan. Materi mengenai etika penjualan dapat digunakan dalam kegiatan ini. Selain itu, materi yang disampaikan dapat dijadikan bekal untuk kemudian hari.
