Guna membantu tenaga medis menganalisis kondisi pasien, mahasiswa program studi Doktor <a href=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/telektro\/id\/beranda\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Departemen Teknik Elektro<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/its.ac.id\">Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS)<\/a> mengembangkan pemodelan tiga dimensi (3D) pada paru-paru pasien yang terinfeksi virus corona.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Melalui sidang terbuka promosi doktor FX Ferdinandus mengungkapkan bahwa disertasinya berjudul <em>Rekonstruksi Permukaan 3D Infeksi COVID-19 pada Citra Paru-paru CT-Scan Menggunakan Alpha Shape Berbasis Segmentasi U-NET<\/em>. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membentuk visualisasi 3D luasan infeksi virus dan menghitung persentase infeksinya terhadap volume paru-paru.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Menurut Ferdinandus, hal tersebut meninjau jumlah pasien yang terinfeksi tidak sebanding dengan lama penanganan untuk mendiagnosa dan proses perawatan pasien. Oleh karena itu, perlu diciptakan metode untuk menunjukkan persentase volume paru-paru yang terinfeksi dengan akurasi tinggi. \u201cHingga diinovasikan sistem intelijen untuk membantu permasalahan itu,\u201d tambahnya.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Melalui sistem yang digagasnya, doktor ke-212 dari Departemen Teknik Elektro tersebut menghasilkan kemiripan visualisasi organ manusia dengan mencapai lebih dari 90 persen. Segmentasi ini dilakukan untuk menghilangkan area citra paru-paru dari organ latar belakangnya, seperti tulang ataupun jantung. \u201cProses itu pun memisahkan antara luasan paru-paru dengan luasan yang terinfeksi virus,&#8221; jelasnya.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Lebih dalam, proses segmentasi yang digunakan oleh pria kelahiran Surabaya ini berupa metode <em>Convolutional Neural Network<\/em> (CNN) dengan arsitektur U-Net. Tujuannya untuk mengklasifikasikan <em>pixel<\/em> dari hasil citra berdasarkan kelas objeknya. Proses tersebut dilakukan dengan mengonversi berkas citra CT-scan menjadi citra 2D sekaligus meningkatkan kualitas citra yang dibutuhkan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Setelah mendapat citra 2D yang diinginkan, Ferdinandus membuat sistem intelijen dengan membagi berkas citra ke dalam bagian data training dan data testing. Ferdinandus mengasumsikan target kesesuaian tersebut adalah 90 persen untuk paru-paru dan 70 persen untuk luasan daerah terinfeksi. \u201cNamun, hasilnya pun melampaui target, dengan masing-masing pengembangannya melampaui sejauh 5 persen,\u201d tambahnya.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Ketika hasil dari sistem intelijen sudah terbentuk, dilakukan rekonstruksi hasil segmentasi citra paru-paru dan luasan yang terinfeksi untuk didapatkan citra 3D. Melalui proses penumpukan dan penggunaan metode <em>Alpha Shape<\/em>, akan dihasilkan sketsa bentuk paru-paru dan bagian yang terinfeksi yang diproses pada bitmap objek 3D. &#8220;Hasil akhir ini yang dapat membantu akurasi hasil diagnosa dokter,&#8221; papar Ferdinandus.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Melalui sistem intelijen yang digagas, lulusan dengan predikat <em>cumlaude<\/em> ini berhasil memperjelas visualisasi paru-paru dan luasan infeksinya dengan 3D <em>Printing<\/em>. Ke depan, ia akan tetap mengembangkan inovasi kedokteran ini agar dapat diimplementasikan secara luas. \u201cSemoga metode ini juga dapat dikembangkan untuk penyakit lain, seperti tumor atau kanker,\u201d tutupnya penuh harap.
