Menyoroti hal tersebut, tim Pengabdian Masyarakat (Abmas) Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) mengimplementasikan teknologi <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">photovoltaic<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> yang terintegrasi penyimpanan baterai untuk mengoptimalkan produksi kebun buah naga di Desa Sukorejo, Banyuwangi.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Mahasiswa yang tergabung dalam tim abmas ITS, Edwin Juanda Samuel Sirait mengungkapkan bahwa Desa Sukorejo memiliki potensi yang tinggi sebagai desa penghasil buah naga terbesar di Banyuwangi. \u201cOleh karenanya, pengoptimalan proses produksi buah naga di kebun di desa tersebut harus segera dilakukan, salah satunya dengan teknologi <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">photovoltaic<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">,\u201d terangnya.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Melalui pengimplementasian teknologi <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">photovoltaic<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> yang terintegrasi penyimpanan baterai, energi surya dari sinar matahari akan diubah menjadi energi listrik lalu disimpan ke dalam baterai. Energi listrik yang tersimpan ini digunakan untuk menyalakan lampu sebagai sumber penerangan di malam hari. \u201cPenyinaran di malam hari dapat meningkatkan produktivitas buah naga sehingga dapat berbuah di luar musim panennya,\u201d tambahnya.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_82700\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-82700\" style=\"width: 1280px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-82700\" src=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/08\/1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"960\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/08\/1.jpg 1280w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/08\/1-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/08\/1-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/08\/1-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/08\/1-355x266.jpg 355w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-82700\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Alat photovoltaic, teknologi sumber energi baru terbarukan sebagai sumber penerangan kebun buah naga di Desa Sukorejo, Kabupaten Banyuwangi<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Selain meningkatkan produktivitas buah naga, Juan mengulas bahwa implementasi teknologi yang menghasilkan energi listrik terbarukan ini dapat menekan pembengkakan biaya listrik. Adapun jumlah potensi listrik yang dihasilkan berjumlah besar lantaran rata-rata penyinaran matahari di Desa Sukorejo cukup tinggi. \u201cKami pun berencana untuk membuat Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) untuk desa ini lantaran alasan tersebut,\u201d imbuhnya.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Lebih lanjut, penerapan teknologi ini membutuhkan waktu sekitar empat hari. Namun sebelumnya, berbagai pertimbangan seperti penentuan lokasi yang tepat, hingga perencanaan dan pembuatan alat dilakukan.
