Mojokerto, ITS News –<\/strong>In preparation for the establishment of the Faculty of Medicine and Health (FKK), Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS)<\/a> held an audience with the Dr. Wahidin Sudiro Husodo Regional General Hospital (RSUD), Mojokerto City. The hearing that was held on Thursday (22\/6) discussed further cooperation and closer relations between the two.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Taking place at Dr. Wahidin Sudiro Husodo Hospital, Mojokerto City, this audience was attended by the Chancellor of ITS Prof. Dr. Ir Mochamad Ashari MEng IPU AEng, Director of Dr. Wahidin Sudiro Husodo Hospital Sulaiman Rosyid MKes, Mayor of Mojokerto Ika Puspitasari SE, and Chairperson of the Service Association Center Health Dr. Muhammad Subuh MPPM. In addition, the Dean of FKK ITS Dr. Imam Susilo and ITS senior management also attended this audience.<\/p>\n

In his remarks, the Chancellor of ITS said that this audience activity was aimed at strengthening the relationship that had previously been formed between ITS and Dr. Wahidin Sudiro Husodo Hospital. “We want to establish friendship, especially in the context of developing FKK ITS,” he said.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the chancellor who is often called Ashari expressed ITS desire to contribute to the world of health. Even though ITS has so far been synonymous with its engineering and technology family, Ashari emphasized that this desire arose after seeing the facts at this time, where medicine and technology cannot be separated. “In the future, the link between technology and medicine will be very high,” he said.<\/p>\n

Responding to this, Sulaiman Rosyid said that his party would help ITS realize this desire. Sulaiman is sure that the technological advances brought by ITS will greatly impact the world of health. Sulaiman admits that he is ready to help by collaborating on the program that is owned between ITS and Dr. Wahidin Sudiro Husodo Hospital.<\/p>\n

Sulaiman also hopes that with this audience, inputs will be created that can make RSUD Dr. Wahidin Sudiro Husodo more developed, especially in the education sector. He revealed that the focus of the hospital he currently leads is planned to be in the education sector. “We really hope that these inputs can build and improve the quality of education in this hospital,” said Sulaiman.<\/p>\n

Mayor of Mojokerto Ika Puspitasari also gave a similar welcome. He admitted that he was happy with the collaboration carried out by ITS and Dr. Wahidin Sudiro Husodo Hospital. This collaboration will bring good things to the City of Mojokerto in the future. “It is hoped that with this cooperation, the economic and health sectors in Mojokerto will be better,” he said hopefully.<\/p>\n

Finally, Ashari emphasized that this hearing was the first step in ITS collaboration with Dr. Wahidin Sudiro Husodo Hospital as a teaching hospital. Ashari is grateful for the support given by the parties involved. In the future, Ashari hopes that the collaboration will produce good results not only in the health sector, but also in other sectors such as education and the economy.
