Hal ini membuat Forkamp ITS mendapat beberapa tambahan keluarga baru. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Acara kali ini juga sebagai penyambutan salam kenal mahasiswa baru 2009 asal Pamekasan,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d ujar Kholid Yadi, ketua Forkamp saat ini.<\/p>\n<p>Spesialnya, tahun ini acara penyambutan mahasiswa baru tepat diwaktu bulan Ramadhan. Untuk itu, sembari menyambut dan berkenalan dengan mahasiswa baru, anggota Forkamp juga telah menyiapkan beberapa bingkisan untuk berbagi kebahagiaan dengan beberapa anak yatim piatu.<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Alhamdulillah para Alumni Forkamp masih sangat <em>concern<\/em> pada perhimpunan ini, untuk itu ada beberapa yang menyumbang dana untuk kegiatan sosial ini,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d ujar Dedy darmanto ketua panitia acara ini.<\/p>\n<p>Ditemui ITS Online, salah satu mahasiswa baru yang hadir mengaku senang dengan adanya kegiatan yang dihelat oleh Forkamp ini. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Saya senang karena dengan adanya perkumpulan seperti ini kita bisa mengenal teman-teman sekampung halaman,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d ujar Nurkholis mahasiswa baru Teknik Fisika.<\/p>\n<p>Acara ini kemudian berlanjut dengan buka puasa bersama. Tampak mahasiswa baru dan mahasiswa lama berbaur akrab. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Alhamdulillah jaringan komunikasi Forkamp ini dapat terus dijaga dan selalu ada informasi yang selalu ada diantara kami,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d ujar Zainul, mahasiswa Teknik Perkapalan yang juga anggota Forkamp angkatan 2006 ini.<\/p>\n<p>Selain acara sambut kenal mahasiswa baru, Forkamp telah eksis melakukan beberapa kegiatan, salah satunya adalah pelatihan robotika di daerah pamekasan serta kunjungan roadshow pengenalan ITS Forkamp kebeberapa sekolah di Pamekasan.
