Kali ini, Spektronics ITS membawa dua <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">prototype<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> inovasi mobil ramah lingkungannya untuk berlaga di <a href=\"https:\/\/chernival.com\/icrcc\">Indonesia Chemical Reaction Car Competition 2023 (ICRCC 2023)<\/a>.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">ICRCC merupakan <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">kompetisi mobil <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">prototype<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> berbahan reaksi kimia yang merupakan bagian dari rangkaian kegiatan akbar tahunan <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Chemical Engineering Innovation Festival<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (Chernival) ITS.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Pada tahun ini, Spektronics ITS mengutus dua sub tim untuk berlaga pada pertandingan ini, yaitu Spektronics 23 (SP 23) yang dipimpin oleh Ferry Rayyan dan Spektronics 24 (SP 24) yang dipimpin oleh Alifia Salsa.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">General Manager Spektronics ITS, Alifah Salsabila menjelaskan bahwa mobil yang dibawa oleh masing-masing tim menggunakan teknologi yang cukup berbeda. \u201cPerbedaan terbesarnya terletak pada <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">sumber energi gerak dan teknologinya,\u201d jelas mahasiswa <a href=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/tkimia\/\">Departemen Teknik Kimia<\/a> tersebut.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_80770\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-80770\" style=\"width: 2560px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-80770\" src=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/05\/mbl-sp-23-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1707\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/05\/mbl-sp-23-scaled.jpg 2560w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/05\/mbl-sp-23-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/05\/mbl-sp-23-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/05\/mbl-sp-23-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/05\/mbl-sp-23-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/05\/mbl-sp-23-2048x1366.jpg 2048w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/05\/mbl-sp-23-355x237.jpg 355w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 2560px) 100vw, 2560px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-80770\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Tim Spektronics 23 yang sedang mempersiapkan mobil Spektronics 23 sebelum bertanding di <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Indonesia Chemical Reaction Car Competition 2023<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Mobil SP 23 memanfaatkan tekanan yang dihasilkan oleh reaksi dekomposisi dari <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">hydrogen peroxide<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> dengan katalis <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">ferric chloride<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> sebagai sumber energi geraknya. Penggunaan reaksi dekomposisi ini membuat mobil rancangan Spektronics ini menjadi lebih ramah lingkungan, sebab emisi dari hasil reaksi dekomposisi yang terjadi dapat didaur ulang dan digunakan kembali.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Lebih lanjut, mobil ini juga dilengkapi dengan sistem elektrikal yang meliputi <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">hall effect sensor <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">dan <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">microcontroller.<\/span><\/i> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Hall effect sensor<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> merupakan komponen yang dapat mengubah informasi magnetik menjadi sinyal listrik dan umumnya digunakan untuk mendeteksi posisi, kecepatan, dan lain-lain. Sedangkan <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">microcontroller<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> merupakan komputer kecil berbentuk cip <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">integrated circuit<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> yang dapat melakukan tugas tertentu.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Berbeda dengan mobil SP 23, mobil SP 24 menggunakan teknologi baterai sebagai sumber energi geraknya. Baterai pada mobil SP 24 ini dibuat oleh menggunakan <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">alumunium air<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> dan <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">carbon<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. Salah satu keunggulan yang dimiliki oleh baterai pada mobil SP 24 ini adalah dapat digunakan hingga berkali-kali sehingga lebih ramah lingkungan. Salah satu diantaranya adalah juara umum yang diraih oleh sub tim SP 23 dengan 94,52 poin dan berhasil mengalahkan <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">tim Atom Nawasena dari Universitas Brawijaya<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. Hasil ini merupakan akumulasi dari keseluruhan lomba, sehingga meskipun gagal meraih peringkat pertama pada tahap race, SP 23 tetap dapat meraih juara umum berkat perolehan poin yang tinggi pada tahap lainnya.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Tim SP 24 juga menampilkan performa yang membanggakan.
