Para ABK dari Yayasan Peduli Kasih Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus tengah memamerkan hasil lukisan kainnya dalam Gebyar Ngopi Komunitas 3.0, Minggu (12\/2)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Kampus ITS, ITS News <\/strong>\u2013 Kerap kali dipandang berbeda, anak berkebutuhan khusus (ABK) cenderung memiliki kepercayaan diri yang rendah. Melihat hal itu, Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa (BEM) Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) menginisiasi Gebyar Ngopi Komunitas 3.0 sebagai wadah ABK untuk berekspresi dan membangkitkan kepercayaan dirinya, Minggu (12\/2).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Ketua pelaksana kegiatan, Jinan Elvaretta menuturkan bahwa kegiatan ini bertujuan menunjukkan komitmen BEM ITS dalam membantu masyarakat di sekitarnya. Kali ini, Gebyar Ngopi Komunitas 3.0 berhasil menggandeng sejumlah 18 ABK dan bekerja sama dengan Yayasan Peduli Kasih Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus.<\/p>\n

\u201cPara ABK ini kami ajak berinteraksi dan diberikan pengajaran guna meningkatkan kepercayaan dirinya,\u201d ungkapnya.<\/p>\n

Lebih lanjut, Jinan menjelaskan bahwa pengajaran yang diberikan kepada para ABK berlangsung selama enam hari sebelum acara Gebyar Ngopi Komunitas 3.0 ini dilakukan. Pengajaran praktikal berupa memasak, melukis, menghias kain dengan tinta, hingga membuat gelang manik-manik dikemas dalam bentuk yang menyenangkan sehingga para ABK tidak bosan.<\/p>\n

\u201cKarya-karya tersebut dipajang dan dipamerkan dalam Gebyar Komunitas 3.0,\u201d terangnya.<\/p>\n

Selain karya-karya tersebut, mahasiswi Departemen Teknik Instrumentasi ini berujar bahwa para ABK juga turut memeriahkan acara lewat agenda fashion show<\/em>, mengaji, hingga menari. Dengan bangga, para ABK berhasil menyuguhkan penampilan terbaik mereka.<\/p>\n

“Dalam gelaran ini, mereka cukup ekspresif dan percaya diri di hadapan banyak orang,” cetusnya.<\/p>\n

Melalui kegiatan-kegiatan tersebut, Jinan berharap Gebyar Ngopi Komunitas 3.0 mampu meningkatkan kepercayaan diri para ABK Yayasan Peduli Kasih Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus. Selain itu, dirinya pun berharap para orang tua dan mahasiswa yang hadir dalam acara ini menjadi lebih perhatian terhadap ABK dengan tidak memandangnya berbeda.<\/p>\n
