Dalam pernyataan sikapnya yang dituangkan dalam selebaran berjudul Aksi Refleksi 11 Tahun, BEM ITS menyoroti bahwa saat ini sedang terjadi pergeseran-pergeseran nilai dalam kampus yang seyogyanya menjadi pusaran reformasi. Harapan bahwa kampus menjadi motor perubahan seiring era baru yang tercipta dan kampus menjadi stabilitas sosial, kini seolah hanya slogan utopis dan penuh mimpi.<\/p>\n

Jika dirunut ke belakang, reformasi lahir di kalangan mahasiswa, di tengah-tengah dinamika kampus. \u00e2\u20ac\u009dAdanya perubahan, umumnya berasal dari gejolak dalam kampus,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d ulas Arif. Namun, imbuhnya, ternyata semangat reformasi tersebut mulai luntur di kalangan mahasiswa.<\/p>\n

Di tengah guyuran hujan, para aktivis juga membagikan bunga hitam. \u00e2\u20ac\u009dBunga hitam ini menggambarkan tentang lunturnya semangat reformasi. Dan kita di sini mengajak untuk kembali menggugah semangat sebelas tahun silam,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d ungkap mahasiswa Planologi angkatan 2005 ini.<\/p>\n

Lebih lanjut, Arif memberikan gambaran reformasi dengan kondisi kampus ITS saat ini. \u00e2\u20ac\u009dDalam isu saat ini banyak kampus yang menjadi lahan kapitalisme.
