Untuk itu, dua pakar di bidang terkait mengupas hal tersebut pada gelaran Science Course: Upstream Series Vol. 1. yang diadakan oleh Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Student Chapter<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (ITS SC).<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Manajer Senior Japan Petroleum Exploration, Koichi Nakagami menjelaskan, eksplorasi migas adalah pencarian lokasi cadangan hidrokarbon seperti minyak dan gas dalam perut bumi. Selanjutnya, lokasi yang ditemukan akan menjadi titik awal dari proses pengeboran <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">serta pengolahan minyak dan gas bumi.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Menurutnya, proses eksplorasi di Indonesia masih belum maksimal. Hal tersebut dikarenakan pekerjaan di bidang eksplorasi migas memiliki risiko pekerjaan yang cukup tinggi. Padahal, Indonesia memiliki potensi yang cukup besar pada kekayaan alamnya, khususnya minyak dan gas. <\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_76519\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-76519\" style=\"width: 6000px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-76519\" src=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/11\/DSC02548.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"6000\" height=\"3376\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-76519\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Koichi Nakagami ketika sesi penyampaian materi mengenai eksplorasi migas<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Selain itu, pekerjaan eksplorasi ini memiliki peluang keberhasilan yang kecil, Koichi menuturkan, ketika seorang pekerja eksplorasi mengajukan beberapa lokasi <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">drilling<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, kemungkinan lokasi tersebut benar menyimpan minyak dan gas adalah hanya sebesar 30 persen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Maka dari itu, pada pekerjaan dengan risiko besar, dibutuhkan seseorang yang bertanggung jawab dan berani mengambil risiko. Juga, seorang pengeksplor minyak dan gas harus berpikir positif dan optimis. \u201cTanpa keberanian akan risiko, kita takkan pernah berhasil menemukan lokasi <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">drilling<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">,\u201d terang Koichi pada 26 November lalu.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_76524\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-76524\" style=\"width: 6000px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-76524 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/11\/DSC02583.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"6000\" height=\"3376\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-76524\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Milky Umar Bawazier ketika memaparkan risiko saat proses <em>drilling<\/em> gagal<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Lebih lanjut, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">drilling engineer <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Kangean Energy Indonesia, Milky Umar Bawazier ST MM menjelaskan mengenai risiko yang terjadi ketika proses <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">drilling <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">gagal. Di antaranya adalah <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">lost circulation<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> dan k<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">ick &amp; blow out<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.
