Seperti tahun sebelumnya, daftar ini dirilis secara daring oleh Stanford University dan Elsevier Report pada 10 Oktober 2022 lalu<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Studi tersebut dilakukan oleh Professor John PA Ioannidis MD PhD dari Stanford University, Jeroen Baas dari Elsevier, dan Kevin Boyack dari SciTech Strategies melalui publikasi <em>Updated Science-wide Author Databases of Standardized Citation Indicators<\/em> versi keempat. Ilmuwan diklasifikasikan menjadi 22 bidang keilmuan dan 176 subbidang dalam pemeringkatan sitasi <em>c-score<\/em> di luar sitasi diri sendiri (<em>nonself-citation<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Menjadi satu-satunya akademisi dari ITS, profesor yang akrab disapa Riyan ini juga tercatat sebagai satu dari 98 peneliti asal Indonesia yang masuk dalam jajaran <em>Top 2% Scientist in the World<\/em> tersebut. Dosen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/informatika\/id\/beranda\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Departemen Teknik Informatika ITS<\/a> itu memperoleh nilai <em>c-score<\/em> sebesar 366 sitasi pada September 2021 hingga September 2022. \u201cTerkait penelitian terbaru saya, tahun ini saya sudah menerbitkan 16 jurnal terindeks Scopus dan <em>Web of Science<\/em> (WoS),\u201d papar Riyan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Lebih rinci, pakar <em>artificial intelligence<\/em> (AI) pada bidang kesehatan ini pada tahun 2022 menerbitkan satu jurnal terindeks Scopus Quartile 3 (Q3), lima jurnal terindeks Scopus Quartile 2 (Q2), dan sembilan jurnal terindeks Scopus paling tinggi yaitu Quartile 1 (Q1) yang juga memiliki <em>impact factor<\/em> WoS. <em>Science Citation Index<\/em> (SCI) dan <em>Science Citation Index Expanded<\/em> (SCIE) WoS merupakan indeks sitasi yang dikelola oleh <em>Clarivate Analytics<\/em> yang memiliki standar sitasi jurnal, di mana <em>impact factor<\/em> tinggi setara dengan Scopus <em>percentile<\/em> tinggi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Selain jurnal, Riyan juga menghilirkan penelitian berupa pembuatan alat pendukung operasi otak berbasis AI yang disebut <em>Stereotactic<\/em> untuk menentukan secara akurat lokasi anatomi kecil di dalam otak. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena alat pendukung operasi <em>Stereotactic<\/em> masih bergantung pada produk impor dan harganya mahal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u201cDalam otak, banyak anatomi kecil, contohnya <em>ventral intermediate<\/em> (VIM) <em>nucleus<\/em> dengan ukuran hanya sekitar tiga milimeter, sehingga memerlukan alat tersebut dengan ketelitian tinggi,\u201d ungkap dosen yang juga merupakan konsultan berpengalaman dalam audit sistem informasi ini.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_74190\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-74190\" style=\"width: 1280px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-74190\" src=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/10\/Rektor-ITS-Prof-Dr-Ir-Mochamad-Ashari-MEng-IPU-AEng-kiri-bersama-Prof-Drs-Ec-Ir-Riyanarto-Sarno-MSc-PhD-menunjukkan-perangkat-i-nose-c-19.jpeg\" alt=\"Rektor ITS Prof Dr Ir Mochamad Ashari MEng IPU AEng (kiri) bersama Prof Drs Ec Ir Riyanarto Sarno MSc PhD menunjukkan perangkat i-nose c-19\" width=\"1280\" height=\"854\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-74190\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Rektor ITS Prof Dr Ir Mochamad Ashari MEng IPU AEng (kiri) bersama Prof Drs Ec Ir Riyanarto Sarno MSc PhD menunjukkan perangkat i-nose c-19<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Meskipun berfokus pada bidang AI serta <em>signal and image processing<\/em>, Riyan juga menguraikan bahwa pemanfaatan AI sejatinya bisa diaplikasikan pada berbagai teknologi lain seperti analisa bisnis, pengembangan teori graf, audit sistem informasi, hingga pendeteksi kecurangan yang bisa dilakukan secara daring. Lebih jauh, AI juga berpotensi untuk diterapkan pada pengembangan teknologi masa depan yaitu rekayasa genetika.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Alumnus doktoral <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unb.ca\/\">University of New Brunswick, Kanada<\/a> tahun 1992 itu mengungkapkan, penelitian yang dilakukannya tidak hanya sebatas publikasi semata. Namun, Riyan senantiasa hadir dalam mewujudkan hilirisasi hasil riset untuk diproduksi teknologi secara massal, sehingga bisa dimanfaatkan lebih luas oleh masyarakat. \u201cSaya melakukan penelitian dasar, terapan, hingga pengembangan untuk mewujudkan produksi hasil inovasi sehingga tidak terbatas pada tulisan saja,\u201d tandasnya.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Adapun dalam melakukan hilirisasi teknologi, Riyan menekankan mengenai pentingnya Tingkat Kesiapterapan Teknologi (TKT) dalam riset. Menyambung pernyataan sebelumnya, dosen kelahiran 1959 tersebut menjelaskan bahwa TKT memiliki sembilan tingkatan. Tingkat pertama hingga ketiga berupa penelitian dasar untuk publikasi, tingkat keempat hingga keenam berupa penelitian terapan untuk menghasilkan prototipe, dan tingkat ketujuh hingga kesembilan berupa hilirisasi hasil riset.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Sebagai ilmuwan yang lebih dari tiga dekade berkecimpung dalam riset, Riyan menilai bahwa riset merupakan kegiatan yang vital karena melahirkan penemuan dan pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan.
