Usaha dan doa adalah kunci yang selalu dipegang hingga dapat menjadi wisudawan termuda di <a href=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS)<\/a>. Wisudawan termuda dari Departemen Teknik Perkapalan ini akan diwisuda sebagai sarjana, Sabtu (24\/9) mendatang.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Menamatkan perkuliahan di usia belia, menjadi keistimewaan tersendiri bagi pria yang karib disapa Shafiy ini. Pilihan studi S1 di <a href=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/tkapal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Teknik Perkapalan ITS<\/a> merupakan wujud dari ketertarikannya dalam bidang konstruksi kapal. Selain itu, ia memiliki misi untuk berkontribusi pada kemaritiman Indonesia yang dirasa masih tertinggal dengan negara lain.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Menurut alumnus SMAN 2 Sidoarjo ini, laut Indonesia masih banyak tercemar oleh sampah plastik yang belum bisa diolah. Sehingga merusak ekosistem laut. Hal itulah yang melandasi Shafiy memilih topik Tugas Akhir (TA) berjudul<em> Analisis Teknis dan Ekonomis Metode Penyambungan Plastik Daur Ulang<\/em>. Pada penelitiannya, Shafiy menggunakan sistem pengeleman dan <em>plastic welding<\/em> untuk kulit lambung kapal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Semasa kuliahnya, Shafiy mengaku tak pernah kesulitan dalam bergaul dan berkomunikasi dengan teman seangkatan. Meskipun terpaut umur yang cukup jauh, dirinya bisa beradaptasi dan berkomunikasi dengan baik. \u201cSolidaritas teman Teknik Perkapalan yang tinggi sudah diasah saat kaderisasi, umur tidak menjadi batasan bahkan sudah seperti keluarga sendiri,\u201d terang pemuda asal Sidoarjo tersebut.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Menjadi wisudawan termuda, tak jarang Shafiy menemui kerikil kecil di sepanjang jalannya untuk meraih gelar sarjana. Karena umurnya yang masih belia dan sudah berstatus mahasiswa, ketidakstabilan emosi kerap dirasakannya. Hal ini lumrah dialami mengingat umurnya yang masih remaja. Ia bersyukur memiliki keluarga dan teman yang suportif sehingga dapat membantunya melewati rintangan kecil semasa kuliah.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Ketika menjadi mahasiswa, Shafiy tak hanya menelan mentah-mentah ilmu yang diberikan dosen. Selepas perkuliahan, ia membaca ulang materi yang diberikan sebagai wawasan baru ke depannya. Tak hanya itu, wisudawan yang tertarik di bidang konstruksi ini juga berkecimpung pada proyek riset Baito Deling. Di sini ia belajar proses pembuatan kapal dengan laminasi bambu. \u201cBiasanya kapal terbuat dari aluminium dan kayu, tetapi saya tertarik bergabung dengan Baito Deling karena membuat kapal dari bambu,\u201d ucapnya.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Menurutnya, mahasiswa tidak hanya harus fokus pada bidang akademik, tetapi juga pengalaman non akademik. Di tahun ketiganya, ia menjadi <em>digital marketer<\/em> Baito Deling dan mempelajari <em>project management.<\/em> Ilmu yang ia dapatkan semasa di Baito Deling membuatnya bersyukur karena dapat berguna untuk jenjang karirnya nanti.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Dia berprinsip bahwa belajar tidak mengenal waktu dan usia.
