Mulai dari suguhan alunan grup band hingga saling <em>sharing<\/em> antar mahasiswa dan alumni yang merupakan inti dari acara ini. Di <em>sharing<\/em> sendiri para alumni ini menceritakan berbagai pengalaman kuliah mereka di awal berdirinya Teknik Informatika.<\/p>\n<p>Noor Azzam, salah satu alumni Teknik Informatika angkatan 1989 bercerita perkuliahan mereka tempo dulu. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Bayangkan saat itu, kami benar-bener minim fasilitas dan tak tahu apa itu komputer,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d cerita Azzam, alumni yang juga merupakan anggota komunitas Pengguna linux Surabaya ini.<\/p>\n<p>Bahkan ada beberapa cerita lucu tentang penggunaan komputer saat itu. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Bahkan seorang teman pernah meminta saya hanya untuk memindahkan <em>keyboard<\/em> saat itu, sebab ia takut komputer akan <em>mbledos<\/em> (meledak,red) jika salah memencet tombol <em>keyboard<\/em>,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d kenangnya disambut tawa seisi ruangan.<\/p>\n<p>Untuk perkuliahan sendiri para alumni juga banyak bercerita. Yudhi Purwnanto salah satunya. Alumni angkatan 1989 ini mengungkapan banyak perbedaan dalam sistem pengajaran dulu dan sekarang. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Kalau dulu dosen biasa tidak mengajar dan hanya memberi tugas, terus dipertemuan ke 16 kita langsung diminta demo,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d jelasnya.<\/p>\n<p>Selain itu tambah Yudhi, untuk meraih indeks prestasi 3 (IP, red) saat itu sangatlah sulit. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Mahasiswa yang dapat IPK 3 hanya sedikit berbeda dengan sekarang,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d jelasnya sambil berujar bila dulu masih ada dosen yang menganggap nilai A itu hanya untuk tuhan.<\/p>\n<p>Kesempatan bertemu dengan Alumni ini tak disia-siakan oleh banyak mahasiswa TC. Beberapa pertanyaan pun mengalir mulai seperti peluang lulusan Teknik Informatika ke depannya. Dan alumni pun menjawab bahwa salah satu dari peluang itu bisa datang dari menciptakan sektor industri kreatif seperti membuat <em>Software<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Kontribusi sektor <em>software<\/em> saat ini masih rendah pada pertumbuhan ekonomi negara, ini sangat memprihatinkan karena saat ini adalah era industri kreatif seperti sektor <em>software<\/em> ini,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Jelas Purnadi alumni angkatan 1987 yang juga pemilik Traspac,&nbsp; perusahaan yang bergerak dalam pengembang <em>software<\/em> ini.<\/p>\n<p>Di akhir acara para alumni juga diajak berkeliling ke beberapa tempat kenangan mereka. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Para alumni akan berkeliling ke beberapa kampus Teknik Informatika lama,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d ujar Ketua Himpunan Teknik Informatika Deden Ade Nurdeni.
