Kampus ITS, ITS News – <\/strong>Tim robot Ichiro<\/a> kebanggaan Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) kembali menorehkan prestasi membanggakan di kancah internasional. Membawa nama ITS, kali ini Tim Ichiro berhasil meraih 13 penghargaan sekaligus dalam ajang tahunan bertaraf internasional FIRA Humanoid Robot Cup (HuroCup) 2022 yang diumumkan setelah final berakhir, Selasa (23\/8).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Muhammad Afdhil Islammy, Team Leader Ichiro ITS mengatakan, kompetisi HuroCup ini digelar oleh Federation of International Robot Sport Association (FIRA) setiap tahunnya. Namun dikarenakan pandemi Covid-19, kompetisi tahun ini masih digelar secara daring. Kompetisi HuroCup ini berfokus pada pengembangan bidang robotika humanoid, yang merancang robot untuk berjalan, mengatur keseimbangan, dan melakukan gerakan yang kompleks.<\/p>\n

Tim Ichiro ITS sendiri sudah mengikuti ajang bergengsi dunia ini sejak 2016 berturut-turut. Sejak tahun 2016 itu pun, Tim Ichiro ITS tak pernah absen untuk mempertahankan raihan gelar juara dan penghargaan dari berbagai kategori yang diadakan. \u201cKeikutsertaan Tim Ichiro ITS kali pertamanya pada 2016 berhasil merebut 10 penghargaan dan terus bertambah tiap tahunnya,\u201d ungkap mahasiswa yang kerap disapa Afdhil ini.<\/p>\n

Diikuti oleh berbagai universitas kelas dunia dari Hongkong, Taiwan, Rusia, dan Malaysia, pada kompetisi FIRA HuroCup 2022 ini masing-masing tim berkompetisi dalam lima kategori lomba. \u201cKelima kategori tersebut, yaitu Archery, Basketball, Triple Jump, Sprint, dan Weightlifting dan Tim Ichiro ITS sendiri mengikuti keempat kategori kecuali Triple Jump,\u201d papar mahasiswa Departemen Teknik Fisika ini.<\/p>\n

Mahasiswa tahun keempat ini menjelaskan, pada kategori Archery, robot para peserta ditantang untuk melakukan olahraga panahan di mana anak panah yang paling mendekati target, maka robot akan mendapat poin tertinggi. \u201cKemudian untuk kategori Basketball, robot ditantang untuk bisa memasukkan bola ke ring basket dengan berbagai jarak dan poin yang berbeda,\u201d terang Afdhil.<\/p>\n

Lebih lanjut, Afdhil menjelaskan, pada kategori Sprint mengharuskan robot berlari ke depan dan mundur secepat mungkin. Sedangkan pada kategori Weightlifting, robot akan mengangkat beberapa beban yang berupa Compact Disc (CD). \u201cPada kategori Weightlifting, pemenang ditentukan oleh seberapa banyak beban yang mampu diangkat robot,\u201d imbuhnya.<\/p>\n

Tim Ichiro ITS yang berdiri sejak 2012 ini menurunkan tiga robot unggulannya yang terbagi dalam kelas Adult Size dan Kid Size. Pertama, Robot Ichiro Adult Size yang memiliki tinggi sekitar 75 sentimeter dan 8 kilogram berhasil meraih Juara 1 Sprint, Juara 2 Weightlifting, Juara 2 Basketball, Juara 3 Archery, dan Juara All-round (Umum) ke-2.<\/p>\n

Robot kedua, Ichiro Kid Size 1 yang memiliki tinggi 50 sentimeter dan berat 5 kilogram dengan raihan Juara 2 Basketball, Juara 3 Sprint, Juara 3 Weightlifting, dan Juara All-round ke-3. Robot terakhir, yaitu Ichiro Kid Size 2 berhasil menyabet Juara 1 Weightlifting, Juara 2 Sprint, Juara 3 Basketball, dan Juara All-round ke-2. \u201cDengan begitu, Tim Ichiro berhasil meraih total 13 penghargaan pada FIRA HuroCup 2022,\u201d ucap Afdhil dengan bangga.<\/p>\n

Menurut Afdhil, keberhasilan tersebut tidak luput dari inovasi yang dikembangkan oleh Tim Ichiro ITS. Inovasi di bagian capit robot yang terbuat dari aluminium tipe 7 dan desain yang efisien, membawa keberhasilan pada Tim Ichiro ITS. \u201cDengan desain capit tersebut memungkinkan robot Tim Ichiro ITS dapat mengikuti semua kategori lomba tanpa harus memodifikasinya terlebih dahulu, sehingga dapat menghantarkan Tim Ichiro ITS meraih Juara All-round,\u201d lanjutnya.<\/p>\n

Menanggapi prestasi membanggakan yang diraih, Afdhil berharap Tim Ichiro ITS selalu konsisten untuk mengembangkan inovasi-inovasi robotnya. \u201cSelain itu, semoga tahun depan, ajang FIFA HuroCup dapat berlangsung secara luring, sehingga Tim Ichiro ITS dapat menyabet penghargaan lebih banyak lagi dikarenakan banyaknya kategori unggulan kami yang dilombakan secara luring,\u201d pungkasnya.
