Packaged in the form of knowledge sharing, this event took place at the ITS National Ship Design and Engineering Center (NaSDEC) Building for two days, starting Wednesday (27\/7).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">With the theme Synergizing Maritime Industry Ship Maintenance Management, this activity was attended by ITS Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ir Mochamad Ashari MEng IPU AEng, Operations Director of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bki.co.id\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PT Biro Statistik Indonesia (BKI)<\/a> Mohamad Cholil, and President Director of PT Gapura Ir Thomas Rhemus Prawiro and Head of BKI Surabaya Branch Arif Nurtjahjo ST and BKI Samarinda Ir Imam Kusnandar. There were also 35 ship owners from various regions.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_70813\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-70813\" style=\"width: 1280px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-70813\" src=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/07\/2-2.jpeg\" alt=\"Rektor ITS Prof Dr Ir Mochamad Ashari MEng IPU AEng saat memberikan sambutannya\" width=\"1280\" height=\"724\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-70813\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">ITS Chancellor Prof Dr. Ir Mochamad Ashari MEng IPU AEng while giving his speech<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In his remarks, Mohamad Cholil conveyed the importance of synergy between actors in the maritime sector. The man who is usually called Cholil said that as a crucial actor in seaworthiness in Indonesia, BKI is here to become a liaison between parties in the maritime sector in Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">More clearly, Cholil explained that there needs to be good collaboration between the five parties to increase the seaworthiness of ships. That includes the government, ship owners, shipyards, classification bodies, and insurance companies. &#8220;With the support of ITS in this event, hopefully, it can increase the synergy of maritime actors in Indonesia,&#8221; he said optimistically.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_70812\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-70812\" style=\"width: 1280px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-70812\" src=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/07\/3-3.jpeg\" alt=\"Direktur Operasi PT Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (BKI) Mohamad Cholil sedang menyampaikan sambutannya\" width=\"1280\" height=\"724\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-70812\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Director of Operations of the Indonesian Classification Bureau (BKI) Mohamad Cholil is delivering his speech.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In line with this, the ITS Chancellor added the importance of joining hands in solving problems.
