A total of 121 robot teams from 54 universities in Indonesia will compete until July 3, 2022.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The Chief Executive of the 2022 Indonesian Robot Contest, Dr. I Ketut Eddy Purnama, ST MT, said that the teams that competed at the national level were the champions who beat 654 registered teams at the regional level. He detailed that there were 24 teams for the Indonesian Ash Robot Contest (KRAI), 24 teams for the Indonesian Search and Rescue Robot Contest (KRSRI), and 22 teams for the Indonesian-Wheeled Football Robot Contest (KRSBI-B), 12 teams for the Indonesian-Humanoid Football Robot Contest (KRSBI-H), 24 teams for the Indonesian Thematic Robot Contest (KRTMI), and 15 teams at the Indonesian Dance Robot Contest (KRSTI).<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_69837\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-69837\" style=\"width: 1280px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-69837\" src=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/07\/2.jpeg\" alt=\"Rektor ITS Prof Dr Ir Mochamad Ashari MEng IPU AEng menyampaikan sambutan pada pembukaan KRI 2022 sebagai tuan rumah\" width=\"1280\" height=\"718\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-69837\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">ITS Chancellor Prof Dr. Ir Mochamad Ashari MEng IPU AEng delivered a speech at the opening of Indonesian Robot Contest 2022 as the host<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The lecturer of the Department of Computer Engineering explained that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\">ITS<\/a> as the implementing committee worked together to support the implementation of the KRI by utilizing the facilities from the existing labs. He realizes that students have vast creative potential and must be supported by a strong culture of innovation, especially in artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), and robotics.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_69835\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-69835\" style=\"width: 1280px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-69835\" src=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/07\/4.jpeg\" alt=\"Rektor ITS Prof Dr Ir Mochamad Ashari MEng (kanan) bersama Plt Kepala Puspresnas dan Kepala Balai Pengembangan Talenta Indonesia Asep Sukmayadi saat meninjau arena lomba KRI 2022\" width=\"1280\" height=\"718\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-69835\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">ITS Chancellor Prof Dr. Ir Mochamad Ashari MEng (right) with the Acting Head of Puspresnas and Head of the Indonesian Talent Development Center Asep Sukmayadi while reviewing the KRI 2022 competition arena<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Not to forget, Asep expressed his appreciation for the ITS Barunastra Team, who became the overall champion in the 2022 International Roboboat Competition (IRC) in Florida, United States, at the end of last June. &#8220;As the host, ITS gave us positive energy by catapulting Indonesia&#8217;s name into the international robotics scene,&#8221; he said proudly.<\/p>\n<p>Asep emphasized that technological progress will challenge human work and work in the future. &#8220;Advances in robotics do not replace the role of humans as a whole but open up opportunities to allocate human resources to more valuable jobs,&#8221; he stressed.<\/p>\n<p>Asep said his party wants to ensure superior talents can still actualize their potential and achievements in various situations and conditions. He hopes this year can continue to encourage achievements and find the best skills to be further prepared in technology. &#8220;Hopefully, the KRI 2022 event can also be enjoyed by the community and become an inspiration for mastering technology in the future,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>ITS Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ir Mochamad Ashari MEng IPU AEng said that KRI is not only a place to show to facilitate student interests, ideas, and creativity in robotics technology.
