ITS ranking up to 701-750 at the international level in the QS World University Rankings 2023<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

ITS Campus, ITS News<\/span><\/b>\u2013 Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS)<\/a> has continuously intensified competition globally. This time, ITS managed to enter the six best universities at the national level in the QS World University Rankings (QS WUR) 2023, released Wednesday (8\/6) afternoon.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

ITS Senior Manager for World Class University (WCU) Affairs Rulli Pratiwi Setiawan ST MSc Ph.D. explained that 16 universities in Indonesia are members of the QS WUR 2023 ranking. Meanwhile, at the international level, ITS increased its ranking from 751-800 last year to 701-750. With a total of 1,422 registered universities, ITS is included in the top 50 percent of world-class universities.<\/span><\/p>\n

There are six indicators used in the QS WUR, namely 40 percent Academic Reputation, 10 percent Employer Reputation, 20 percent Faculty Student, and 20 percent Citation per Faculty. The indicators for International Faculty are 5 percent, and International Students are 5 percent. “ITS since 2019 has consistently improved in the indicators of Academic Reputation and Employer Reputation,” he continued.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rulli continued, ITS obtained a total score of 18.0 with details of 13.0 in Academic Reputation, 30.3 for Employer Reputation, 30.7 for Faculty Students, 1.8 for Citations per Faculty, 60.0 for International Faculty, and 2.9 for International Students.<\/p>\n

This ITS Urban and Regional Planning Department (PWK) lecturer emphasized that this ranking uses the 2020 database as its input. The data listed is the number of lecturers, the number of students, and the number of citations or citations in Scopus indexed journals within six years. “The Academic Reputation and Employer Reputation indicators are calculated for five years,” he added.
