ITS Campus, ITS News –<\/strong> To welcome the month of Shawwal, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS)<\/a> again held a halal bi halal activity attended by the entire ITS big family. The action, held at Graha Sepuluh Nopember ITS, was offline and broadcast live through the ITS TV youtube channel on Monday (9\/5).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

ITS Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ir Mochamad Ashari MEng IPU AEng said this activity carried the theme of increasing resource excellence and increasing spiritual intelligence because spiritual intelligence has the same position as intellectual intelligence.<\/p>\n

In addition to spiritual intelligence, the Chancellor, usually called Ashari, emphasized to ITS staff and lecturers to be wise in speaking in public spaces. “We must maintain our form of communication to the public. Don’t let us cause problems that we don’t want,” he warned.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the professor of Electrical Engineering also explained that ITS had accepted 21 prospective new students for the ITS class of 2022 through the achievements of the Hafiz Quran category. “Eight prospective students memorized 30 chapters; the rest are prospective students who memorized about 25 to 30 chapters,” said the doctoral alumnus from Curtin University of Technology<\/a>, Australia.<\/p>\n

After his remarks, Ashari continued with the presentation of awards to several ITS Hafiz and Hafizah students. Among them were Shalita Nafisa Wahyudi from the Department of Chemistry, Muftih Hasan Albana and Muhammad Husni Mubarak from the Department of Architecture, Muhammad Abrar Al Usoyi from the Department of Informatics Engineering, Uzaifah from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and Safarina Vidinila Rosi from the Department of Visual Communication Design (DKV).<\/p>\n

To build the spirituality of the ITS extended family even better, this halal bi halal activity also presented KH Abdurrahman Al Kautsar or commonly called Gus Kautsar, a cleric from Kediri, to give tausyiah.<\/p>\n

In his lecture, Gus Kautsar reminded us that Allah SWT always forgives all humans’ mistakes. “Don’t overthink. Allah SWT will forgive all mistakes,” he said.<\/p>\n

Gus Kautsar also emphasized that humanity must continually improve in the future. Both intellectually, spiritually, and in all other aspects. “We should follow the example of Prophet Muhammad SAW, who was always eager to improve every aspect of himself,” he added.<\/p>\n

Several other activities included the appearance of spiritual songs from the Cinta Rebana ITS Student Activity Unit (UKM) and the presentation of reports on Ramadan activities on the 43rd Campus (RDK). Closing the halal bi halal activity, Ashari again reminded the entire ITS big family to continue improving their intellectual and spiritual intelligence. “Because actually, a good human being is a person who likes to apologize and forgive the mistakes of others,” he concluded.
