Namun hal ini dapat terhambat karena faktor defisit air bersih di area sekitar. Mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, tim TIRTA 62 yang beranggotakan tiga mahasiswa <a href=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\">Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS)<\/a> menginovasikan Self Clean Rainwater Harvesting Wastafel (Steril), wastafel yang mampu mengolah air hujan menjadi air bersih untuk cuci tangan.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Salah satu fasilitas publik yang menjadi sumber penyebaran virus Covid-19 di Indonesia adalah stasiun kereta api. Berdasarkan data <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kai.id\">PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI)<\/a> pada 2020, salah satu stasiun dengan pengunjug tertinggi ialah Stasiun Kemayoran, Jakarta dengan jumlah pengunjung mencapai 1,6 juta orang per harinya. \u201cSanitasi yang bersih di stasiun menjadi pendukung terlaksananya protokol kesehatan di tempat umum,\u201d ungkap Bernadeta Elie, Ketua tim TIRTA 62.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Namun hasil analisis Badan Regulator Pelayanan Air Minum (BRPAM) DKI Jakarta pada 2006, menyatakan bahwa Jakarta akan terus mengalami defisit air bersih. Komponen-komponen filtrasi terdiri dari saringan serat mikro, silver ion, karbon aktif, membran Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET), dan batu kapur. \u201cDelapan unit filtrasi ini yang akan memproses air hujan menjadi air bersih,\u201d ujarnya.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Air hujan yang telah diproses menjadi air bersih akan disalurkan ke tandon bawah dan sumur serapan.
