Alih-alih merasa segar, tak jarang yang hadir malah perasaan cemas tanpa alasan, tak bergairah, hingga kehilangan fokus. Hal ini merupakan gejala ketika seseorang mengalami <i>post-holiday blues<\/i> (PHB). Mari kenali penyebab dan cara mengatasinya bersama Psikolog Klinis<a href=\"https:\/\/riliv.co\/\"> Riliv<\/a>, Toetik Septriasih SPsi MPsi.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><b>PHB dan Penyebabnya<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Toetiek mengatakan bahwa <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">post-holiday blues<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> merupakan gejala psikologis berupa suasana hati yang dipenuhi kesedihan hingga kesepian setelah menjalani liburan. PHB bukanlah penyakit patologis atau perilaku tidak wajar. \u201cPerlu dipahami PHB ini adalah hal yang normal terjadi, setiap orang pasti bisa memulihkan diri dari kondisi ini,\u201d ucapnya.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Menurut Toetiek, setidaknya ada dua hal utama yang dapat menyebabkan PHB terjadi. Pertama, ketika seseorang menjadikan liburan sebagai media untuk menghindar dari tanggung jawab yang seharusnya dihadapi. Dalam istilah manajemen stres, hal ini disebut prinsip <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">flight<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. \u201cAlih-alih merasakan <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">healing<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, seseorang yang berlibur karena menghindari tanggung jawab cenderung akan lebih tertekan setelah selesai berlibur,\u201d terang psikolog klinis tersebut.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Alasan lain seseorang mengalami PHB adalah apabila orang tersebut mengalami peristiwa tidak mengenakkan saat berlibur. Perlu dimaknai kembali bahwa liburan berbeda dengan <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">healing.<\/span><\/i> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Healing<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> merupakan proses penyembuhan yang dibantu serta didampingi oleh pihak yang kompeten. Sedangkan liburan merupakan proses untuk mengistirahatkan diri. &#8220;Perlu dimaknai ulang, kalau jadwal liburannya justru padat, maka tidak ada proses penyembuhannya,&#8221; ungkap alumni Psikologi Universitas Gadjah Mada tersebut.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Meredakan gejala PHB bisa dimulai dengan mengakui apa yang dirasakan dan menganggap hal tersebut wajar. Tidak apa-apa untuk menceritakan masalah yang dihadapi kepada orang-orang yang dipercaya. Mulailah memahami masalah apa saja yang dapat memicu stres. Kemudian, terapkan prinsip 4A, meliputi <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">avoid<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> atau menghindari pemicu stres, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">alter<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> atau mengemukakan pikiran yang menyebabkan tertekan, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">adapt<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> atau melatih keterampilan saat berada dalam situasi tidak nyaman, serta <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">accept<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> yaitu memahami bahwa tidak semua hal dapat dikendalikan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dengan berlatih mengelola stres, seseorang akan lebih mudah memahami bagaimana dirinya mengalokasikan waktu untuk menyelesaikan tugas-tugasnya. Liburan yang dijadwalkan pun dapat diusahakan bukan sebagai bentuk melarikan diri dari tanggung jawab, melainkan sebagai sarana beristirahat. \u201cPerlu diingat, stres bukanlah hal berbahaya yang akan menjerumuskan kita.
