ITS Campus, ITS News \u2013 <\/strong>Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) as one of the best State Universities (PTN) in Indonesia continues to work hard to improve its positive image through new relationships with various parties. This time, ITS together with a delegation from the French Embassy (Embassy) for Indonesia held an offline meeting to discuss research collaboration and increasing the mobility of postgraduate students, Wednesday (26\/1).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The French Embassy’s Science and Technology Attache Dr. Thierry Goubier said that the mobility improvement program had been implemented through the French Indonesian Consortium in Engineering and Management (FICEM)<\/a> in 2021. Not only that, but the Indonesian Franais Institute (IFI) Surabaya has also carried out several collaborations such as training, presenting several ITS lecturers, and so on since last November 2021.<\/p>\n

Not only that, currently there are 11 universities or institutes in France that have collaborated as university partners with ITS. These include the Institut National Des Sciences Appliques (INSA) De Rennes, the Universite de Technologie de Troyes, and so on. “Because of this collaboration, we are very enthusiastic to collaborate with ITS for research and mobility again,” he said.<\/p>\n

Guided by the Senior Manager of International Cooperation of the ITS Global Partnership Directorate, Astria Nur Irfansyah ST MEng Ph.D., ITS invited the French Embassy delegation to take part in the innovation tour that had been created by ITS. Starting from research at the Civil Engineering Department regarding the evaluation of transportation on the Bengawan Solo river, the RAISA robot is a collaborative design of ITS with Airlangga University (Unair), and the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) created by the ITS Faculty of Marine Technology (FTK)<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, in a discussion session with the French Embassy delegation, ITS Vice-Chancellor IV Bambang Pramujati ST MScEng Ph.D. said, ITS already has an international class undergraduate program that can accept French students who want to study at ITS. “We aim this program as a return to various collaborative programs proposed by the French Embassy,” he said.<\/p>\n

At the end of the discussion session, this Mechanical Engineering Department lecturer hoped that ITS and the French Embassy could collaborate further on innovations in the fields of robotics, maritime, and other innovations. “We hope that this research collaboration can take place soon so that ITS can work higher with France,” he concluded with hope.
