Guna membantu hal tersebut, tim mahasiswa <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS)<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> melalui kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) membuat alat pemantau guna mengendalikan kualitas air berbasis <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Internet of Things<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (IoT) untuk kolam budidaya ikan gurami di Sambijajar, Sumbergempol, Tulungagung.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Tim KKN tersebut terdiri dari tujuh mahasiswa asal Departemen Teknik Instrumentasi ITS. Dengan diketuai oleh Dewi Lailatus Su&#8217;adah, Tim KKN ini membuat alat ukur parameter kualitas air guna mempermudah pemantauan kualitas air kolam budidaya. Selain itu, penambahan sistem IoT melalui aplikasi <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Smart Fish Pond <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">ini bertujuan agar petani budidaya dapat mengakses data pengukuran serta melakukan kontrol penggantian air kolam ikan gurami melalui <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">smartphone.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_64244\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-64244\" style=\"width: 1366px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-64244\" src=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/11\/ac.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1366\" height=\"768\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/11\/ac.png 1366w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/11\/ac-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/11\/ac-1024x576.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/11\/ac-768x432.png 768w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/11\/ac-355x200.png 355w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1366px) 100vw, 1366px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-64244\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Tampilan aplikasi Smart Fish Pound yang mengolah data pengukuran sensor dan melakukan kontrol penggantian air kolam.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Lebih lanjut, Dewi menjelaskan, parameter terukur dalam sistem monitoring air kolam adalah suhu, kadar pH, dan kekeruhan air yang mengacu pada Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI) untuk budidaya ikan gurami. Selanjutnya, nilai yang telah diperoleh dari pengukuran sensor kemudian diolah menggunakan <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">mikrokontroler <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">dan diakses melalui aplikasi <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Smart Fish Pond<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cAplikasi ini akan memunculkan notifikasi jika air kolam sudah dalam kondisi harus diganti,\u201d terangnya.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Di sisi lain, aplikasi <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Smart Fish Pond <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">telah dilengkapi dengan fitur kontrol penggantian air otomatis<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Fitur ini mengirimkan perintah kontrol dari aplikasi pada <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">smartphone <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">untuk menggerakkan <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">relay <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">aktuator <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">solenoid valve<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> sebagai pembuang air dan pompa untuk pengisian air. Dengan demikian petani tidak perlu khawatir lagi akibat terlambat mengganti air kolam, karena kini penggantian air kolam sudah bisa dilakukan secara otomatis.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_64246\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-64246\" style=\"width: 750px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-64246\" src=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/11\/ag.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"750\" height=\"413\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/11\/ag.jpg 750w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/11\/ag-300x165.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/11\/ag-355x195.jpg 355w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-64246\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Penggerakan <em>selenoid valve<\/em> secara otomatis melalui aplikasi Smart Fish Pond.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dewi juga memaparkan terkait pemasangan alat detektor air kolam. Ia menjelaskan bahwa alat dan sensor yang digunakan akan dimasukkan ke dalam sebuah <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">panel box.<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Adapun desain <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">panel box<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> dirancang dengan menambahkan pipa PVC yang dapat dibuka tutup. Desain ini bertujuan untuk memudahkan pengecekan sekaligus melindungi sensor agar tidak terkena air. \u201cKami mengantisipasi percikan air dan gangguan akibat pergerakan ikan,\u201d jelasnya.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Mochammad Nizar, salah satu anggota tim KKN, turut menjelaskan hambatan yang mereka hadapi selama kegiatan KKN berlangsung. Menurutnya, adanya Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat (PPKM) membuat uji validitas dan proses pembuatan alat menjadi terhambat. Karena menguji validitas alat ukur memerlukan standar kalibrator yang ada di laboratorium. \u201cSehingga keterbatasan mobilitas ini membuat proses ujinya membutuhkan waktu lebih lama,\u201d jelas mahasiswa asal Surabaya ini.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Nizar dan segenap tim KKN berharap bahwa penggunaan alat <em>monitoring<\/em> ini dapat meningkatkan produktivitas petani budidaya ikan air tawar sekaligus mengurangi dampak kematian massal ikan gurami yang sering terjadi.
