Untuk mengatasi hal ini, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) bersama Badan Penelitian dan Pengembangan Perhubungan (<a href=\"https:\/\/balitbanghub.dephub.go.id\/\">Balitbanghub<\/a>) Kementerian Perhubungan (Kemenhub) mengembangkan alat Standing Water Detector (SWD). Menindaklanjuti kerja sama tersebut, SWD saat ini dilakukan uji di landasan pacu<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Internasional Yogyakarta Airport (YIA).<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ketua dari tim peneliti ITS, Dr Dra Melania Suweni Muntini MT menjelaskan bahwa SWD merupakan alat untuk mendeteksi tingkatan level genangan air di landas pacu bandara ketika turun hujan. Menurutnya, terdapat dua jenis SWD yang diuji cobakan di YIA, yakni SWD berlapis baja dan polimer komposit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dosen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/fisika\/\">Departemen Fisika ITS<\/a> ini menjelaskan, SWD terdiri dari sensor genangan air berbasis kapasitor, sensor kelembapan, dan sensor temperatur. Alat yang dimulai penelitiannya sejak 2018 tersebut juga ramah lingkungan lantaran mampu bekerja dengan sumber listrik dari tenaga surya.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Menurut pengakuan Melania, uji coba tersebut dilakukan untuk mendapatkan sertifikasi. Terdapat delapan peralatan SWD yang diletakkan di empat titik sebelah utara dan empat titik di sebelah selatan landasan pacu YIA. Diantaranya adalah keamanan berupa sensor dan <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">transmitter<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. Data yang dibentuk oleh SWD dikirimkan ke server yang kemudian diolah menjadi bahasa algoritma perangkat lunak. \u201cHal ini dilakukan agar memperoleh hasil data ketinggian air secara <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">real time<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">,\u201d jelas Melania.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dengan segala upaya tersebut, Melania kembali menekankan bahwa jangan sampai ada data yang tidak benar karena adanya kesalahan teknis atau sabotase. Penegasan ini dilakukan sehingga informasi yang dikirim oleh <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Analog to Digital Converter <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">(ADC) bisa valid.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Kepala Pusat Penelitian dan Pengembangan Transportasi Udara (Puslitbang TU) Balitbang Kemenhub, Kapten Novyanto Widadi SAP MM menyadari penuh pentingnya alat SWD ini dalam dunia penerbangan.
