Hal tersebut menarik perhatian salah satu mahasiswa Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Moh Faisal dalam meneliti kualitas udara di Pulau Jawa sejak Januari 2020 hingga Juli 2021.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Mahasiswa <a href=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/tgeomatika\">Departemen Teknik Geomatika ITS<\/a> ini terkejut dengan hasil temuan dari penelitiannya. Pasalnya, kualitas udara di Indonesia fluktuatif dan tidak terus menurun di masa pandemi Covid-19 saat mobilitas warga dibatasi. Ia menggunakan indikator gas nitrogen dioksida (NO<sub>2<\/sub>) dan karbon monoksida (CO) sebagai hasil pembakaran kendaraan bermotor serta pemantauan terhadap ozon (O<sub>3<\/sub>).<\/p>\n<p>Grafik yang didapatkan menunjukan mobilitas masyarakat masih tinggi pada periode tertentu, misalnya pada masa liburan. Hal tersebut membuat Faisal menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan kebijakan pemerintah pada masa pandemi Covid-19 belum maksimal.<\/p>\n<p>Mahasiswa angkatan 2018 ini mendapatkan data berdasarkan hasil penginderaan jauh satelit Sentinel 5P milik Corpenicus. Selanjutnya, pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Google Earth Engine. \u201cCara ini dapat mengolah citra satelit secara daring dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman JavaScript dan Phyton,\u201d ungkap mahasiswa tersebut.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_63209\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-63209\" style=\"width: 1280px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-63209\" src=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/10\/foto-2.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"588\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/10\/foto-2.jpeg 1280w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/10\/foto-2-300x138.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/10\/foto-2-1024x470.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/10\/foto-2-768x353.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/10\/foto-2-355x163.jpeg 355w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-63209\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Tampilan website yang telah dibuat berisi informasi hasil penelitian kualitas udara di masa pandemi Covid-19.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Data diolah dan ditampilkan dalam bentuk grafik pada setiap bulan. Selanjutnya, data tersebut diolah kembali sesuai kaidah kartografi, seperti penambahan legenda dan informasi peta. \u201cKemudian dilakukan uji korelasi dengan data BMKG untuk mengetahui pengaruh data tersebut terdapat gas polutan,\u201d tutur pria tersebut.<\/p>\n<p>Lebih dari hal itu, Faisal berhasil melakukan integrasi hasil Google Earth Engine Apps dengan uji korelasi data yang diolah di Microsoft Excel dengan membangun website. \u201cSistem informasi gas polutan dan monitoring berbasis web merupakan langkah efektif dan efisien dalam menyampaikan informasi,\u201d imbuhnya.<\/p>\n<p>Hasil perancangan website diunggah secara daring dengan menggunakan <a href=\"https:\/\/mohfaisal18.github.io\/pemantauan-kualitas-udara\/\">GitHUB<\/a>. Selama proses penelitian berlangsung, Faisal dibimbing oleh dosen Departemen Teknik Geomatika ITS, Rohmaneo Darminto ST MSc dan Hartanto Sanjaya dari Badan Riset Inovasi Nasional (BRIN).
