Kampus ITS, ITS News<\/b> \u2013 Perkembangan dunia digital mengharuskan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) untuk bisa beradaptasi dalam pemasaran produk. Melihat pentingnya hal ini, tim Pengabdian Masyarakat (Abmas) Departemen Teknik Informatika Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) menginisiasi pelatihan <\/span>e-commerce<\/span><\/i> untuk pemasaran produk Koperasi Pesantren (Kopontren) Addimyathy Nurul Iman yang berlangsung selama dua hari hingga Rabu (6\/10).<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Ketua tim Abmas ITS, Dini Adni Navastara SKom MSc mengatakan bahwa masih banyak UMKM di Indonesia yang belum mampu memenuhi tuntutan dunia ekonomi digital. Seperti yang dialami Kopontren Addimyathy Nurul Iman, salah satu UMKM di Kecamatan Labang, Kabupaten Bangkalan yang masih menggunakan sistem pemasaran dari mulut ke mulut ataupun melalui penitipan warung atau toko kecil. \u201cPencatatan pun masih dilakukan secara manual, sehingga sulit untuk menghitung omzet, modal dan laba-rugi yang dihasilkan,\u201d ujarnya.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dini menjelaskan, kurangnya pengetahuan serta adaptasi terhadap Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Teknologi (IPTEK) menjadi sebab masih terjadinya hal ini. Ia menyebut, pengimplementasian teknologi informasi dalam pemasaran yang masih sangat minim ini tidak sebanding dengan banyaknya produk yang dihasilkan, seperti kue kering, kue basah hingga berbagai produk roti. \u201cAkibatnya produk-produk tersebut tidak banyak diketahui masyarakat luas,\u201d ulasnya.<\/span><\/p>\n

Berdasar latar belakang itulah, bersama anggota tim Abmas Laboratorium Komputasi Cerdas dan Visi (KCV) Departemen Teknik Informatika ITS lainnya seperti Prof Ir Handayani Tjandrasa MSc PhD, Prof Dr Agus Zainal Arifin SKom MKom, Dr Eng Nanik Suciati SKom MKom, Dr Eng Chastine Fatichah SKom MKom dan 8 mahasiswa ini, Dini mengadakan program yang menyasar pelatihan <\/span>e-commerce<\/span><\/i> agar meningkatkan jangkauan pemasaran produk.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pada hari pertama, rinci Dini, mitra diberikan pelatihan berupa materi tentang manfaat Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) untuk UMKM yang dilanjutkan dengan pelatihan pembuatan dan manajemen toko <\/span>online<\/span><\/i> pada <\/span>e-commerce<\/span><\/i> Shopee. Selain itu, mitra juga dilatih cara mendesain dan mengedit gambar menggunakan aplikasi Canva. \u201cHal ini penting sekali untuk peningkatan kualitas pemasaran produk, namun tetap mudah untuk diajarkan,\u201d tandasnya.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sedangkan pada hari kedua, mitra diberi fasilitas praktik serta pendampingan langsung oleh tim Abmas ITS. Hal ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pemahaman mitra atas materi yang telah diajarkan di hari sebelumnya. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga menjadi ajang diskusi mengenai kesulitan yang dialami saat mencoba praktik langsung. \u201cSehingga kami juga bisa mengevaluasi, di sisi mana yang masih kurang untuk mitra,\u201d imbuh Dosen Teknik Informatika ITS ini.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dengan dihelatnya program Abmas ITS ini, Dini berharap Kopontren Addimyathy Nurul Iman selaku mitra dapat menerapkan dan memanfaatkan pengetahuan tentang <\/span>e-commerce<\/span><\/i> sebaik-baiknya. Dengan demikian, kombinasi sistem pemasaran secara konvensional dan digital dapat memudahkan proses penjualan, sehingga meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat serta proses bisnis Kopontren Addimyathy Nurul Iman.
