Masing-masing robot dipegang oleh subtim yang berbeda. Pada robot Sea Wasp memiliki spesifikasi dimensi yang lebih besar dibandingkan robot Glaucus Atlanticus.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><em>Software <\/em>desain 3D yang digunakan pun berbeda, Sea Wasp menggunakan <em>Solid Works<\/em>, sedangkan Glaucus Atlanticus menggunakan <em>Autodesk Inventor<\/em>. &#8220;Intinya, kedua subtim mengusung konsep robot bawah air dengan desain <em>frame,<\/em> sirkuit PCB, dan dimensi robot yang berbeda.&#8221; paparnya.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Afrizal mengungkapkan, jika secara keseluruhan sebenarnya robot mini ROV yang dirancang memiliki kesamaan cara kerja. Sehingga robot dapat bergerak sesuai yang diinginkan pengguna, seperti arah maju, mundur, belok kanan, belok kiri, bahkan berputar. \u201cSelain itu, kemampuan yang dimiliki robot dapat dijalankan di bawah air hingga kedalaman 30-50 centimeter,\u201d tutur mahasiswa asal Pasuruan ini.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Karena tuntutan mobilitas yang ada, lanjutnya, kedua robot dirancang dengan desain yang kedap air untuk melindungi komponen elektronikanya. Dalam hal ini, tim memanfaatkan tempat makan plastik sebagai <em>body<\/em> dari robot. Selain menuntaskan misi perlombaan, kedua robot ini juga dapat digunakan sebagai prototipe robot penghisap sampah bawah air, melihat masih banyak sampah di dalam air laut yang dapat merusak ekosistem laut.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Tak hanya itu, robot ini menggunakan desain <em>3D print<\/em> sendiri untuk <em>frame<\/em> pada badan robot, <em>motor pump<\/em> DC yang dirakit sendiri dengan komponen pendukungnya, juga desain elektronika yang <em>simple <\/em>agar mempermudah penggantian komponen apabila terjadi <em>troubleshoot<\/em>. \u201cRobot jenis ini sudah pernah ada sebelumnya, namun di ITS sendiri belum ada robot mini ROV yang dikompetisikan keluar kampus sehingga tim kami berinisiatif untuk membuatnya,\u201d tambah pemuda kelahiran 15 Maret 2000 ini.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Robot yang mengambil filosofi dari hewan-hewan lincah dan berbahaya di lautan ini akan terus dikembangkan serta dievaluasi dari kekurangannya. Yakni kategori <em>Running ROV, People Choice, Most Popular Video, Most Education Value, Community Awareness,<\/em> dan <em>Community Building<\/em>.
