Banyak penelitian yang menunjukkan bahwa tingkat stres yang berlebihan dapat menyebabkan banyak gangguan mental. Simak cara menghadapinya yang dibahas pada seminar bertajuk <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Stress Karena Kuliah Online<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> yang dihelat Fakultas Teknologi Industri dan Rekayasa Sistem Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS).<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Psikolog sekaligus pembicara dalam acara tersebut, Muhammad Syibbli MPsi menyebutkan bahwa tidak semua orang dapat menerima perubahan dengan mudah. Kondisi ini tingkatannya berbeda-beda bergantung pada bagaimana orang tersebut mendefinisikan stres. Menurutnya, setidaknya terdapat beberapa gejala psikologi stres yang harus disadari dan dipahami oleh setiap orang, seperti mudah marah, mudah terdistraksi, kurang motivasi, merasa defensif, merasa kurang terhadap kontrol diri, dan kurang percaya diri.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Sayangnya, banyak orang yang melakukan diagnosis sendiri, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">self-labeling<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, dan generalisasi gejala stres. Akibatnya, masalah yang sebenarnya kecil terlihat besar. Dari sinilah timbul banyak terminologi yang populer digunakan oleh masyarakat, misalnya <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">overthinking, insecurity<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, dan <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">quarter-life crisis<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. \u201cKalau misalkan ada masalah dengan dua orang, bukan berarti kamu punya masalah sama semua orang,\u201d imbuhnya.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Syibbli menjelaskan terdapat dua strategi menghadapi stres. Yang pertama adalah strategi berasaskan masalah, yaitu mengurangi secara aktif sumber stres yang ada. Misalnya, apabila stres karena jadwal kelas yang padat maka solusinya adalah membolos kelas. Strategi ini dapat menenangkan namun juga berisiko untuk masa depan. Selanjutnya adalah strategi berasaskan emosi dengan menjauhkan diri dari sumber stres untuk memulihkan perasaan dan emosi seperti relaksasi dan meditasi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Psikolog di Satu Persen ini menyebutkan bahwa orang sukses adalah orang yang mencari dari permasalahan yang sedang dihadapi, bukan mencari masalah dari solusi yang ditemukan.
