Menanggapi kondisi itu, tim mahasiswa Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) pun mencoba memberikan solusi sistem ketenagalistrikan bawah laut berbasis <em>hydrothermal vent<\/em> yang ramah lingkungan.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><em>Hydrothermal vent<\/em> merupakan retakan di permukaan planet yang dapat memanaskan perairan secara geothermal. Tahapan awal dari kerja pembangkit ialah semburan fluida panas dari <em>hydrothermal vent <\/em>ditangkap oleh kubah raksasa. \u201cKarena mengandung banyak mineral, maka fluida perlu difiltrasi terlebih dahulu,\u201d terangnya.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Fluida hasil filtrasi akan masuk ke bagian MSF evaporator, sementara residunya dipompa keluar.
