Kali ini, lewat karya tulis ilmiah mereka, tim Avengers Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) menggagas pemanfaatan mikrob untuk mengoptimalkan produksi minyak di\u00a0 <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">reservoir <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Schrader Bluff, Alaska.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dalam gagasan tersebut, ketua tim Avengers, Dafa Bayu Putranto menyebutkan bahwa ia dan tim memanfaatkan teknik injeksi air (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">water flooding<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">) dalam metode <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Enhanced Oil Recovery<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (EOR). Hal ini menyebabkan minyak sukar terdorong ke permukaan dan perlu tekanan yang lebih kuat dari biasanya. &#8220;Oleh karenanya, kami mengombinasikan injeksi air dan bakteri agar minyak lebih cair serta tekanan air dapat menguat,\u201d tutur pria kelahiran Jakarta ini.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Kepada ITS Online, mahasiswa Teknik Fisika ini menyebutkan, selain menghasilkan lebih banyak minyak, gagasan timnya memiliki beberapa keunggulan tambahan. Pertama, minyak bumi yang didapatkan memiliki kualitas lebih unggul. Hal ini lantaran, dalam pengembangbiakan bakteri, mereka menggunakan banyak sumber nutrisi sehat. \u201cIni dilakukan untuk mendorong pertumbuhan bakteri baik dan menekan bakteri jahat,\u201d terang Dafa.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Tidak hanya itu, penggunaan mikrob ini juga membuat kandungan minyak menjadi ramah lingkungan. Hal ini dikarenakan, Dafa dan tim menggunakan bakteri alami yang berasal dari tanah. \u201cPengambilan bakteri dari tanah ini juga membuat biaya yang dibutuhkan menjadi lebih minim,\u201d sambungnya melengkapi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Tidak sia-sia, hasil karya tulis tim ini berhasil berbuah manis. Bersama kedua rekannya, Carollina Kusumawidjaya (Teknik Fisika 2018), dan Cigo Ageng Wicaksono (Teknik Kelautan 2018), Dafa berhasil merebut juara favorit dalam ajang Paper and Poster Competition Boreyes 2021. Dalam kompetisi milik SPE Unpad SC itu, tim Avengers mengangkat tajuk <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Microbial EOR Application in Alaskan Viscous Oil Fields<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Terakhir, kepada ITS Online, Director of Academia SPE ITS SC ini berharap agar inovasi ini dapat diteliti lebih lanjut di Indonesia dan dikembangkan dengan teknologi yang memadai. Ia yakin, gagasan ini dapat menjadi landasan dan referensi untuk penelitian berikutnya oleh generasi muda Indonesia. \u201cTentunya, agar pemuda mampu berkontribusi langsung memajukan industri minyak di Indonesia,\u201d pungkasnya mantap.
