Setelah lima hari lelah mengikuti kegiatan perkuliahan di kampus, biasanya sangat jarang acara khusus di akhir pekan yang menghibur civitas akademika ITS. Namun kemarin, penampilan konser Twilite Orchestra dengan kepiawaiannya memainkan musik benar-benar mampu memukau penontonnya hingga terhibur dan larut di dalamnya.<\/p>\n<p>Selama sekitar satu setengah jam acara konser ini digelar. Dengan menyuguhkan musik klasikal dari film dan drama musikal Broadway, sang konduktor, Adie MS, memimpin jalannya konser orchestra tersebut. Diantaranya adalah <em>soundtrack<\/em> dari game Final Fantasy VII berjudul One Winged Angel. Serta lagu berbahasa Italia berjudul <em>Libiamo ne\u2019lietti calici<\/em>, dari opera <em>\u201cLa Traviata\u201d<\/em>. Dalam lagu itu juga diiringi oleh penampilan Lucky Octavian (Indonesian Idol) dan soprano Binu D. Sukaman.<\/p>\n<p>Selain itu juga dibawakan lagu-lagu nasional dan daerah. Indonesia Raya menjadi lagu pembuka dalam acara Musicademia 2007 ini. Kemudian disusul dengan kolaborasi penampilan Paduan Suara Mahasiswa (PSM) ITS dan Twilite Chorus dalam membawakan Himne Institut Teknologi Sepuluh November. Selain itu juga ada lagu Jembatan Merah, Yamko Rambe Yamko, dan Rangkaian Melati. Ketiga lagu itu diaransemen ulang oleh Singgih Sanjaya.  <\/p>\n<p>Pada kesempatan itu Adie MS mengatakan, pentingnya untuk melestarikan kekayaan budaya bangsa sejak dini. Salah satunya adalah lewat jalur musik. \u201cKalau bukan kita sendiri yang mencintai lagu nasional dan daerah lalu siapa lagi. Bisa-bisa kejadian seperti pada lagu kita Rasa Sayange akan terulang lagi,\u201d ucap Adie seusai mengakhiri lagu Jembatan Merah.<\/p>\n<p>Peran konduktor dalam sebuah orchestra amatlah penting, utamanya dalam mengatur tempo dan mengatur bunyinya alat. Hal ini terlihat ketika Adie MS mengajak para penonton mengikuti gerak-gerik tangannya dengan tepukan tangan. Bunyi tepukan tangan yang sedikitpun sangat terasa oleh telinga sang konduktor ini. Setelah dirasa bisa mengikuti, Adie MS pun memadukan dengan komposisi orchestranya. Tepukan para penonton yang dipimpinnya saling bersahutan disela-sela musik orchestra.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dWah, gak kebayang deh. Ternyata Adie MS benar-benar cerdas dan lihai.
