Guna meningkatkan potensi tersebut, tiga mahasiswa <a href=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/tkelautan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Departemen Teknik Kelautan<\/a>, Fakultas Teknologi Kelautan (FTK) Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) menggagas desain alat budidaya ikan tuna lepas pantai otomatis bertenaga surya.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Tim Doa Ayah Ibu tersebut beranggotakan Muhammad Akbar Hardian, Dinda Febriani Analiyah, dan Brigitta Violna El Tito. Menurut Dinda Febriani, anggota tim, Indonesia memiliki potensi laut yang besar dan perlu lebih dimaksimalkan. \u201cSalah satu potensi besar yang perlu dimaksimalkan adalah budidaya ikan tuna lepas pantai,\u201d ungkapya.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Lebih lanjut, mahasiswi kelahiran 2001 ini menyatakan, saat ini budidaya ikan lepas pantai di Indonesia masih dilakukan secara manual. Diperlukan sekitar 15 sampai 20 orang per hari untuk mengurus tempat budidaya ikan tersebut. Tentu ada risiko pekerjaan yang dihadapi seperti tingginya angka kecelakaan kerja. \u201cKarenanya, budidaya ikan lepas pantai di Indonesia belum efisien,\u201d ujarnya.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Berangkat dari permasalahan tersebut, tim yang diketuai oleh Muhammad Akbar Hardian ini berinovasi mendesain sebuah alat budidaya ikan lepas pantai bernama ASTOR. Yakni kepanjangan dari <em>Automatic Offshore Aquaculture with Solar Energy<\/em>. Alat ini didesain untuk meningkatkan produksi budidaya ikan tuna lepas pantai.\u00a0 \u201cIkan tuna merupakan potensi besar yang dimiliki Indonesia dengan kontribusi penghasilan sebesar USD 480 juta per tahunnya,\u201d terang Dinda.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_57326\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-57326\" style=\"width: 768px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-57326 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/03\/WhatsApp-Image-2021-03-24-at-19.57.08.jpeg\" alt=\"Desain poster ASTOR, alat budidaya ikan lepas pantai otomatis karya tim mahasiswa ITS\" width=\"768\" height=\"1084\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/03\/WhatsApp-Image-2021-03-24-at-19.57.08.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/03\/WhatsApp-Image-2021-03-24-at-19.57.08-213x300.jpeg 213w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/03\/WhatsApp-Image-2021-03-24-at-19.57.08-725x1024.jpeg 725w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/03\/WhatsApp-Image-2021-03-24-at-19.57.08-227x320.jpeg 227w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-57326\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Desain poster ASTOR, alat budidaya ikan lepas pantai otomatis karya tim mahasiswa ITS<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">ASTOR didesain untuk beroperasi secara otomatis yang dilengkapi dengan sistem monitor (<em>monitoring system<\/em>), sistem pemberiaan pakan (<em>feeding system<\/em>), ruang penyimpanan pakan (<em>food storage<\/em>), sistem sel surya (<em>solar system<\/em>), ruang penyimpanan (<em>operational storage<\/em>), dan sistem keamanan (<em>security system<\/em>) menggunakan kamera CCTV.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Dijelaskan Dinda, pemberian pakan dalam sistem tersebut dilakukan melalui <em>feeding system<\/em> yang terhubung langsung dengan <em>monitoring system<\/em>. Seluruh sistem dapat bekerja dengan energi listrik yang dihasilkan oleh sel surya.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Pemberian pakan oleh sistem dilakukan dua kali sehari. Sistem pemberi pakan akan menerima perintah dari sensor yang ada di dalam sistem monitor untuk mengeluarkan pakan. Sensor pada monitor terbagi menjadi dua bagian, yaitu <em>underwater sensor<\/em> dan <em>camera underwater<\/em>. Kedua sensor tersebut menempel pada dinding keramba kolam yang terbuat dari pipa HDPE.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Sensor pada sistem monitoring tersebut telah di-<em>setting<\/em> untuk mengetahui waktu yang pas dalam memberi pakan ikan. Sensor tersebut dapat mengetahui ikan sedang lapar melalui tingkah laku ikan. Biasanya, ketika lapar ikan akan naik ke permukaan dan berada di bawah permukaan ketika sudah merasa kenyang. \u201cSelain itu, sensor pada sistem monitor juga dapat mengetahui kualitas air dengan mengukur level pH air tersebut,\u201d imbuh Dinda.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Dengan hadirnya ASTOR, menurut Dinda, memudahkan para nelayan untuk mengontrol serta memberi makan ikan secara otomatis tanpa harus pergi ke lepas pantai karena dapat dikontrol melalui darat. Hal tersebut dapat mengefisiensi budidaya ikan lepas pantai dan meminimalisasi risiko kerja. Peningkatan produksi ikan tuna diperlukan agar tetap menjaga keberadaan dan menutupi kebutuhan ikan tuna di Indonesia. \u201cOleh karena itu, budidaya ikan tuna menggunakan ASTOR adalah cara yang tepat dalam mengatasi hal tersebut karena dapat membantu peningkatan produksi ikan melalui budidaya berkelanjutan (<em>sustainable production<\/em>),\u201d tuturnya.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Jerih payah Tim Doa Ayah Ibu selama kurang lebih tiga bulan tersebut akhirnya membuahkan hasil yang mengagumkan. Tim pencetus desain ASTOR ini termasuk 10 tim yang terpilih dari 50 tim yang ada sebagai finalis lomba <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=lomba+Paper+and+Poster+Competition+Indonesia+Ocean+Expo+(IOE)+2021&amp;oq=lomba+Paper+and+Poster+Competition+Indonesia+Ocean+Expo+(IOE)+2021&amp;aqs=chrome..69i57.580j0j7&amp;sourceid=chrome&amp;ie=UTF-8#\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Paper and Poster Competition Indonesia Ocean Expo<\/em> (IOE) 2021<\/a> yang diselenggarakan oleh Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), beberapa waktu lalu. \u201cWalaupun <em>paper <\/em>kami tidak menjuarai kompetisi tersebut, tetapi <em>paper <\/em>kami mendapat predikat sebagai <em>paper <\/em>dengan poster terbaik,\u201d ucapnya bangga.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Melalui inovasinya ini, Dinda dan tim berharap dengan inovasi desainnya tersebut akan membantu Indonesia dalam memanfaatkan potensi laut di Indonesia lebih baik lagi, terlebih untuk budidaya berkelanjutan ikan tuna.
