Mengenal lebih dalam soal komponen mesin tersebut, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) helat gelar wicara <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Material Engineering in HVAC and Refrigeration Equipment Manufacturing Industry<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, Ahad (21\/3).<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Pembicara dalam acara ini, Ferdiansyah Iqbal Rafandi mengatakan bahwa salah satu jenis HVAC adalah alat pemanas. Alat ini banyak digunakan di negara bermusim dingin atau salju. Ia menjabarkan, komponen utama dalam penyusunan alat ini ialah material yang memiliki tingkat konduktivitas <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">thermal<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> mumpuni seperti tembaga, aluminium, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">stainless steel<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, dan sebagainya. \u201cDi samping itu, alat ini juga memerlukan material penyusun yang terbilang kuat,\u201d sebut Iqbal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Lebih lanjut, sebelum diproduksi secara massal, alat yang telah melalui proses manufaktur perlu diuji terlebih dulu. Iqbal melanjutkan, uji pada alat pemanas dapat bermacam-macam. Hanya saja, menurut Iqbal, pengujian yang paling banyak digunakan praktisi adalah uji Eddy Current. \u201cHal ini lantaran, pengujian jenis ini lebih mudah digunakan dan harganya relatif lebih murah,\u201d katanya.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Di sisi lain, masyarakat yang tinggal di iklim panas seperti Indonesia cenderung membutuhkan alat pendingin. Yang mana, siklus ini dimulai saat udara berada pada tekanan rendah. Kemudian, udara yang telah dikondisikan akan diserap kalornya hingga menguap menjadi gas. Setelah itu, lanjut Iqbal, gas akan dikompres dan dimasukkan ke dalam kondensor. \u201cSelanjutnya kalor akan dilepas dan pendingin tersebut akan menghasilkan cairan,\u201d sambungnya.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Alumnus ITS ini menyampaikan, terdapat rekayasa material tambahan dalam rancangan alat pendingin ruangan. Ia menyambungkan, rekayasa material tambahan tersebut berupa saringan (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">filter<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">), kipas <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">sentrifugal<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, saluran (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">ducting<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">), serta material tambahan lainnya.
