Untuk mewujudkan produksi yang berkelanjutan, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) mengadakan <em>webinar series<\/em> yang membahas penelitian perubahan suhu batuan di lapangan panas bumi Lahendong, Tomohon, Sulawesi Utara agar dapat diprediksi dan dikendalikan, Sabtu (20\/03).<\/p>\n<p>Selaku pemateri, Muhammad Qarinur ST MEng memaparkan bahwa penelitian ini menggunakan pemodelan termo-hidro-mekanis (THM) dengan alat FEM multi-fisika solver COMSOL Multiphysics (COMSOL Multiphysics\u00ae versi 5.5, 2019). Alat tersebut digunakan sebagai pemodelan tiga dimensi (3D) untuk mengembangkan karakteristik perpindahan panas, aliran fluida, dan deformasi pada panas bumi. \u201cAlat ini digunakan pada empat unit pembangkit listrik tenaga panas bumi,\u201d ujar pria yang akrab disapa Qarin itu.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_57098\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-57098\" style=\"width: 518px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-57098\" src=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/03\/WhatsApp-Image-2021-03-20-at-20.27.35-1.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"518\" height=\"333\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/03\/WhatsApp-Image-2021-03-20-at-20.27.35-1.jpeg 518w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/03\/WhatsApp-Image-2021-03-20-at-20.27.35-1-300x193.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/03\/WhatsApp-Image-2021-03-20-at-20.27.35-1-355x228.jpeg 355w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 518px) 100vw, 518px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-57098\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Tampilan 3D temperatur medan panas bumi dalam kondisi alamiah<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Pada penelitian waduk suhu ini, terdapat dua kategori daerah <em>reservoir<\/em>. Kategori zona selatan digunakan untuk penelitian dengan suhu yang sangat tinggi (350 derajat celcius) dan kategori zona utara untuk suhu sedang (250 derajat celcius). &#8220;Hasilnya didapatkan kekeringan panas bumi mulai menunjukkan di angka sekitar 80% &#8211; 100% dan 30% &#8211; 50% untuk setiap zona,&#8221; paparnya.<\/p>\n<p>Berdasarkan hasil kekeringan tersebut, prediksi temperatur sumur produksi menunjukkan penurunan yang cukup signifikan dengan waktu produksi. \u201dPenurunan suhu<em> reservoir<\/em> akan mengganggu tenaga listrik dalam sumur produksi, sehingga akan mengurangi keberlanjutan dari pembangkit listrik tenaga panas bumi,\u201d jelas mahasiswa doktoral di Universitas Ehime, Jepang itu.<\/p>\n<p>Selain itu, hasil simulasi juga mengungkapkan bahwa zona utara sangat cocok dijadikan sebagai lokasi sumur injeksi untuk evolusi suhu reservoir jangka panjang (36 tahun).
