Untuk mengenali lebih jauh terkait hal itu, Departemen Teknik Biomedik, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) gelar kuliah tamu bertajuk \u201cRadar Technology for Medical Applications\u201d secara daring pada Rabu (17\/03) lalu.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Diundang sebagai pembicara, Rezki El Arif menjelaskan terkait teknologi radar yang sedang dikembangkan bersama Prof Tzyy-Sheng Horng untuk memonitor pernapasan manusia. Radar yang digunakan dalam alat ukur pernapasan ini telah dikembangkan bersama sejak 2009 lalu.<\/p>\n<p>Saat itu, Prof Tzyy-Sheng Horng sebatas mengaplikasikan teori <i>self-injection-locked<\/i> (SIL) radar menjadi sebuah sistem. Dengan bantuan <i>signal processing<\/i>, radar menjadi sensitif sehingga didapatkan akurasi data mencapai 50 mikrometer. Namun, saat itu radar belum dikembangkan menjadi alat pengukur pernapasan.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_57042\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-57042\" style=\"width: 1920px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-57042\" src=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/03\/Screenshot-191.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/03\/Screenshot-191.png 1920w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/03\/Screenshot-191-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/03\/Screenshot-191-768x432.png 768w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/03\/Screenshot-191-1024x576.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/03\/Screenshot-191-355x200.png 355w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-57042\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">rangkaian sistem yang digunakan untuk memonitor jantung dan pernapasan manusia<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Pada 2014, radar kembali dikembangkan menggunakan dua sistem tambahan, yaitu TX-Antenna yang diletakkan di bagian dada objek dan RX-Antenna yang dipegang oleh objek. Percobaan ini dilakukan pada manusia yang sedang duduk tanpa melakukan aktivitas apapun. \u201cRadar mampu mendeteksi semua pergerakan, tetapi belum diketahui cara untuk mengurangi distraksi pengukuran,\u201d ujar Rezki, sapaan akrabnya.<\/p>\n<p>Selain itu, kontak antara TX-Antenna dengan kulit manusia menyebabkan tingkat sensitivitas radar berkurang dan grafik yang dihasilkan menjadi tidak jelas. \u201cNamun, radar ini lebih sensitif dibandingkan sebelumnya,\u201d jelas anggota dewan penasehat Perhimpunan Pelajar Indonesia (PPI) Kaohsiung 2018 ini.<\/p>\n<p>Kemudian, dengan dibantu oleh Profesor F K Wang dan tiga mahasiswa lain, pada 2018 kembali dilakukan pengembangan untuk menyempurnakan sistem sebelumnya dengan menambahkan <i>Short Time Fourier Transform<\/i> (STFT). Hasilnya grafik pernapasan menjadi lebih jelas dibandingkan sebelumnya. Akan tetapi, pada objek yang bergerak, grafik yang dihasilkan masih tidak jelas. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, radar kemudian diberi Tag-Antena.<\/p>\n<p>Radar diberi tambahan Tag-Antena yang dilengkapi dengan <i>Electronic Band Gap<\/i> (EBG) dan <i>Frequency Selective Surface<\/i> (FSS). EBG berfungsi untuk mengurangi distraksi akibat gesekan dengan kulit, sedangkan FSS untuk mengurangi distraksi akibat pergerakan objek. \u201cData kemudian dihubungkan pada perangkat elektronik tertentu sehingga dapat diakses di ponsel,\u201d tambah alumnus Universitas Brawijaya ini.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_56979\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-56979\" style=\"width: 1920px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-56979\" src=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/03\/Screenshot-189.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/03\/Screenshot-189.png 1920w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/03\/Screenshot-189-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/03\/Screenshot-189-768x432.png 768w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/03\/Screenshot-189-1024x576.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/03\/Screenshot-189-355x200.png 355w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-56979\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Perbedaan gelombang sinyal radar sebelum dan setelah diberi Electronic Band Gap (EBG) dan Frequency Selective Surface (FSS)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Lebih lanjut, pada 2019 radar sudah mampu memfokuskan radiasi sinyal sehingga daya yang digunakan menjadi lebih efisien. Selain itu, radar juga mampu mendeteksi pergerakan bagian-bagian jantung secara detail. \u201cBahkan, faktor error pada radar cukup rendah, kurang dari tiga persen,\u201d sambung mahasiswa yang pernah mengenyam pendidikan sarjana di Teknik Elektro ini<\/p>\n<p>Tak puas sampai disitu, selanjutnya radar akan dikembangkan menjadi 3D radar sehingga mampu menggambarkan kondisi fisik secara utuh.
