Permasalahan ini melatarbelakangi dua mahasiswa Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) untuk menciptakan inovasi berupa teknologi pemantauan dan pengendalian tambak air laut secara otomatis.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Mereka adalah Danial Farros Maulana dan Muhammad Alfiyan Zulfa yang masing-masing merupakan mahasiswa <a href=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/informatika\/#\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Departemen Teknik Infomatika<\/a> dan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/tsipil\/id\/beranda\/#\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Departemen Teknik Sipil ITS<\/a> angkatan 2020. Keduanya tergabung dalam tim Doa Umi yang mencetuskan ide PONINTEN (<em>Pond Treatment and Monitoring System<\/em>) sebagai sistem pemantau dan pengendali parameter air tambak laut.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Danial Farros Maulana yang akrab disapa Danial menjelaskan bahwa potensi budidaya di Indonesia yang sangat besar masih belum dikelola dengan baik, terutama budidaya tambak. Proses pengambilan keputusan seperti stabilisasi proses sirkulasi dan aerasi juga masih mengandalkan intuisi petambak. Ketidaktepatan proses tersebut akan berakibat pada kematian ikan, yang lebih lanjut berujung pada gagal panen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Berdasarkan hasil studi lapangan yang dilakukan oleh keduanya, lanjut Danial, para petambak cenderung kewalahan mengontrol tambak milik mereka. \u201cApalagi sebagian dari mereka punya lebih dari lima tambak intensif yang membutuhkan kontrol setiap saat,\u201d ungkapnya.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Keduanya memaparkan ide ini yang terdiri dari dua perangkat, yaitu node (sistem PONINTEN) yang berfungsi untuk memonitor parameter air tambak laut, serta aplikasi sebagai pengendali jarak jauh. Cara kerjanya cukup sederhana, alat akan mendeteksi tingkat parameter yang sudah ditentukan, kemudian akan menstabilkan air jika parameternya berubah.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_56450\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-56450\" style=\"width: 1024px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-56450 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/03\/0067-2-1024x598.jpeg\" alt=\"Desain sistem PONINTEN yang berfungsi sebagai sensor dan stabilisasi\" width=\"1024\" height=\"598\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/03\/0067-2-1024x598.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/03\/0067-2-300x175.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/03\/0067-2-768x449.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/03\/0067-2-355x207.jpeg 355w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/03\/0067-2.jpeg 1280w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-56450\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Desain sistem PONINTEN yang berfungsi sebagai sensor dan stabilisasi<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Alat juga akan mengirimkan notifikasi perubahan parameter ke ponsel pengguna melalui aplikasi dengan teknologi <em>Long Range<\/em> (LoRa) yang merupakan protokol komunikasi nirkabel jarak jauh untuk area luas dengan daya rendah.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Lebih lanjut, Danial menjelaskan bahwa PONINTEN mengandalkan beberapa parameter untuk menciptakan kondisi tambak yang optimal. Parameter tersebut adalah suhu, ketinggian permukaan air, dan salinitas atau kandungan garam dalam air. Tingkat akurasi sistem terhadap air tambak untuk tiap parameter sangat baik dengan tingkat persentase kesalahan rata-rata di bawah satu persen. Keakuratan ini didapatkan dari hasil uji coba di kolam mini.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Danial mengklaim ide mereka unggul daripada ide sensoring tambak lainnya karena memiliki kemampuan untuk mengembalikan perubahan parameter, sehingga kualitas air tambak tetap terjaga. Keunggulan lainnya adalah penghematan biaya hingga 37,5 persen. \u201cDengan spesifikasi alat yang ada di tambak berupa satu aerator dan satu pompa,\u201d jelasnya.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Sementara itu, Muhammad Alfiyan Zulfa atau biasa disapa Alfiyan menegaskan bahwa untuk saat ini fokus penelitian mereka masih terbatas pada kondisi tambak yang optimal bagi komoditi udang vaname. Namun hal itu tidak berdampak buruk, sehingga mereka berhasil mengantongi penghargaan <em>Best Internet of Things (IoT) Design<\/em> dalam kompetisi <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ganeshaiotech.com\/\">Ganesha IoTech 2021<\/a> yang diselenggarakan oleh <a href=\"https:\/\/www.itb.ac.id\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB)<\/a> pada Februari lalu. \u201cUntungnya Alfiyan bisa menggantikan saya waktu presentasi,\u201d lanjutnya.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Dua mahasiswa asal Gresik ini berharap nantinya ide mereka dapat dikomersialkan dan diimplementasikan kepada masyarakat. Selain itu, Alfiyan juga berkata bahwa kompetisi <em>business plan<\/em> seperti ini memberikan wawasan yang sangat bermanfaat, seperti ilmu bisnis yang disampaikan langsung oleh pakarnya.
