Penandatanganan MoU antara ITS dengan Van Lang University (VLU) Vietnam yang dilakukan secara daring<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Kampus ITS, ITS News – <\/strong>Melangkah menjadi perguruan tinggi kelas dunia, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) gencar jalin kerja sama dengan berbagai perguruan tinggi mancanegara. Kali ini ITS merangkul Van Lang University (VLU) Vietnam yang diinisiasikan melalui penandatanganan Memorandum of Understanding<\/em> (MoU) yang berlangsung secara daring, Rabu (3\/2).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Kerja sama antar dua perguruan tinggi ini berawal dari salah satu dosen VLU, Ms Nguyen Hoang Mai yang menjadi partisipan dalam program CommTECH gelaran Direktorat Hubungan Internasional atau International Office (IO) ITS (sekarang bernama Direktorat Kemitraan Global) pada tahun 2018 yang lalu.<\/p>\n

Relasi antar keduanya kembali berlanjut ketika delegasi VLU tersebut kembali ke ITS dalam kegiatan Guest Lecturer Series<\/em> di Departemen Manajemen Bisnis ITS, akhir tahun 2020 lalu. Sebagai salah satu bentuk kerja sama yang berkelanjutan, ITS kemudian turut mengirimkan delegasi untuk menjadi pengajar secara virtual di VLU.<\/p>\n

Puncaknya, kedua perguruan tinggi ini memutuskan untuk melakukan kerja sama dalam bidang akademik yang disahkan melalui nota kesepahaman. \u201cMelihat beberapa kegiatan yang sudah berjalan, kedua universitas berkomitmen untuk memperkuat kolaborasi,\u201d jelas Wakil Rektor IV Bidang Riset, Inovasi, Kerja Sama, dan Kealumnian ITS Bambang Pramujati ST MSc Eng PhD.<\/p>\n

Selain Wakil Rektor IV ITS, penandatanganan MoU ini dihadiri pula secara virtual oleh Dekan Fakultas Kreatif dan Bisnis Digital ITS Imam Baihaqi ST MSc PhD dan Kepala Departemen Manajemen Bisnis Dr Syarifa Hanoum ST MT.<\/p>\n

Dari pihak VLU, turut hadir Rektor VLU Prof Tran Thi My Dieu PhD, Wakil Rektor VLU Dr Vo Van Tuan PhD, Kepala Departemen International Cooperation and Scientific Research<\/em> Dr Ngo Minh Hung dan juga beberapa dosen lain dari Fakultas Relasi Publik dan Komunikasi Media VLU.<\/p>\n

Beberapa bentuk kerja sama yang akan dapat terjalin dengan adanya MoU ialah program exchange<\/em> baik untuk mahasiswa maupun dosen, joint research program<\/em> dan juga joint supervision<\/em>. \u201cMengingat kondisi sekarang yang masih berada dalam masa pandemi, kita akan berfokus dulu pada virtual exchange<\/em> dan program jarak jauh lainnya,\u201d tutur Bambang.<\/p>\n

ITS juga membuka kesempatan untuk menjalankan program Joint Degree<\/em>, di mana mahasiswa VLU dapat mengambil separuh perkuliahannya di ITS untuk mendapatkan gelar. Program ini juga berlaku bagi mahasiswa ITS yang ingin menjalankan program Joint Degree<\/em> di VLU.<\/p>\n

Senada dengan Bambang, Dekan Fakultas Kreatif dan Bisnis Digital ITS Imam Baihaqi ST MSc PhD juga menyampaikan bahwa MoU ini nantinya tidak hanya menyasar pada Departemen Manajemen Bisnis. \u201cTidak menutup kemungkinan untuk dilakukan kerja sama dengan departemen-departemen lain di ITS maupun VLU,\u201d pungkasnya.
